 News Letter





     At the club meeting on October 11th a Membership vote was taken to aprove installing a
 water well on our property at the outdoor range, the vote passed and we allotted $8,000
 for this project. We will begin to take bids from various well drilling companys with the
 lowest bid getting the job.

   The clutches on the yahzoo riding mower have been adjusted if this works and we have
 no other problems with the clutches we will have the rest of the broken parts repaired, and 
 try to keep it in good repair for a few more years.

   We are changing the name of the annual deer feed to the Dubuque Field Archers annual     
 banquet. We will be serving beef for the meat instead of deer with the hopes that we will 
 get better attendance among the membership and familys. This will be on a trial basis for
 this year to see if it helps. Everyone is still asked to bring a dish to pass and 
 table service. 

   Members are allowed to hunt on the club land starting the first day of October and running 
thru the first day of  April. At no time is it allowed to target pratice with guns. Please 
if you do hunt on the club property be respectful of other members hunting and of our 
neighbors property You are not allowed to construct fixed stands. We ask that you use clampon 
stands or climbing stands.

   The next club meeting is scheduled for November 15th Wednesday, starting at 7:00 pm at
 the indoor range above the Busted Lift Bar on main, next to the  old indoor range.

   Indoor target season is fast aproaching, this is a good way to hone your shooting skills
 during the winter season and break the boredom. It is also a good way to learn about making
 adjustments to your equipment. So come join usand have fun this winter shooting in
 league, or just hanging out and shooting for fun. The cost for a day of shooting is $2.00 for
 members and $3.00 for non members so bring a friend and enjoy....
