They were caught at the mouth of where the Haw Rivercomes out of
the rapids on Jordan Lake in North Carolina . It was about Mid September
'91, caught fishing into massive amouts of Largemouth Bass feeding
on schools of shad. Method was , throwing out Torpedo(blue and silver
) as far as possible, reeling in pretty fast, and hope like hell a
fish bit it. Several times, the wish came true. It was a baby
torpedo too. They really seemed to love that bait. He caught at
least 4, 18" to 19" bass on the Torpedo. And that was in less than 30
mins.
