"Show some guts" blasts the coach

Fade out against Hi-Fibre Tigers leads to coach blast

"We were well in the hunt till the Sunday games. Then we let Plugger get 5 , and Cresswell get 4. You can't expect to give away 9 goals in the last quarter and win games."
Bench Markers coach was vicious in his criticism of the mental toughness of his players, who have the biggest " points against" in the competition.
"We let them get too many easy goals. I dont wanna say we've been stiff, but when you kick a big enough score to win most games that weekend , and you still lose, well ... you'd have to say the tide will turn one day."

Crowd invasion after the game was due in big part to the heckling by Hi-Fibre Tigers CEO, who incited the crowd with his pre- and post game jeering.
"Your turn will come, son" promised the coach.
