Wrestlemania Card and Predictions

By Destiny

This year's Wrestlemania looks like it's gonna be pretty good, and therefore worth my time to talk about. The following is the listing of matches for tonight and my opinion on each.

Godfather\D'Lo Brown vs. Big Boss Man\Bull Buchanan This match is really not doing much for me. The Bossman just isn't worth the time he's taking up, although I do see a lot of potential from Bull Buchanan. Bossman...well, I've heard that he's a really nice guy and everything, but he's really not working for me...at all. Time to move on. On the other hand, I'm a pretty big D'Lo fan, and the Godfather's pretty good, so maybe this one will be better than I'm expecting.

My Pick for Winner: D'Lo and Godfather

Too Cool\Chyna vs. The Radicalz I have higher expectations for this one, mostly because of Chyna and Too Cool. For those of you who don't know already, I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE Chyna fan, and that's all I have to say about that. The only thing that I find wrong about this match is it's lack of build-up. There was a couple run-ins and stuff, but that's about it. Virtually no story line, but I still think it should be pretty good.

My Pick: Too Cool and Chyna

T & A vs. Al Snow\Steve Blackman I'm not really sure what to think about this match. I'm not a huge Albert fan, but the guy does have talent. Test is cool, and Trish Stratus (I've heard) was trained by the Hardy Boyz, so that makes her cool too. And Head Cheese, they're just funny. I'm really hoping to see midgets with platters of cheese. That would just be great :) Both teams have a lot of promise, but I'm seeing T & A coming out on top to give them more credibility.

My Pick: T & A

Kane\Rikishi vs. X-Pac\Road Dogg This one will probably be good, but it's been played out for a while already. I'm confused as to why Rikishi is even in this particular match, because he doesn't exactly have a lot to do with this. But even so, all four of these guys are great entertainers, and hopefully we can see the end of this whole X-Pac/Kane feud. I'm hoping for Tori to get AT LEAST chokeslammed sometime in this.

My Pick: Kane and Rikishi

HardCore Battle Royal I'm not exactly sure who's involved in this, but I'm looking for Tazz to be a definite win. He hasn't recieved his push yet, and the Hardcore title is the perfect way to start it. The only other ending I can see in this match is for Crash Holly to somehow retain it much like he always ends up doing in his 24 Hour/Day thing.

My Pick: Tazz

Cat Fight Match- The Kat vs. Terri You guys probably aren't expecting this from me, but I have a theory for this match which makes me VERY happy! I think the Kat will win cuz of interference from Edge and Christian and the Hardys against Terri since she's been pissin them off lately (hey, they wouldn't do that for nothing, would they?). Plus the Kat's friends with Chyna, so I'm goin with her to win.

My Pick: The Kat

Triangle Ladder Match for the Tag Team Championship - Hardys vs. Edge\Christian vs. Dudley Boyz I'm looking forward to this match the most, but I'm gonna be completely honest. I'm scared half to death of this, because I can only imagine what these guys are gonna do with those ladders and tables and stuff, especially Jeff Hardy! This is much like my situation with the Hell in a Cell match between Mick Foley and Triple H. I'm just terrified they're gonna kill themselves...but I'm stuck on this one. Altho I'm into all three teams, I'm picking either Edge and Christian or the Hardys for this one, probably Edge and Christian because they haven't had the titles yet and they just went through a turn. Possibly the Hardys tho, because they've only held the belts on one occasion, and pretty much every single match I've ever seen them in has been amazing.

My Pick: Edge and Christian

Two fall Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental and European Championships - Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle This is another match I'm looking forward to a lot. I'm not a big Chris Benoit fan (YET), but ya gotta love Chris Jericho, and Kurt Angle's undeniably a great talent, both wrestler-wise and mic-wise. My take: I think Chris Jericho will get one belt (either one is fine) and Chris Benoit will get the other, leaving Kurt Angle to whine about a conspiracy and what-not until he can regain one or the other.

My Pick: For intercontinental, Chris Jericho. For European, Benoit, but they're interchangeable.

Fatal Four Way Elimination Match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship - The Rock vs. Big Show vs. Mick Foley vs. Triple H The great thing about this is how unpredictable it is. When you think about it, it's VERY difficult to think who's gonna win this one. The Big Show is probably a no-go, but then you get to the other three and it starts to get complicated. Let's start with Triple H. He's held the title for a long time now, but it's a possibility that he could retain it, one reason being a screw job by one of the other McMahons, or maybe even interference on his behalf by Austin or the Undertaker. I'm drawing a blank as to him right now, so we'll just move on to the Rock. He's a popular pick for winner, but he's certainly not a definite win because he's going to be out shooting the Mummy. Why let him win the title if he won't be there to defend it? Finally, Mick Foley. Everyone is expecting this guy to win, which is exactly why he might not. The WWF is always trying to do the unpredictable, and everybody knows that Mick only does what's best for the company. He'll already be living out his dream of being in the main event, and it's possible that winning the title isn't that big of a priority to him. However, if he wins and relinquishes the title to a tournament, that pretty much has the storylines covered for hte next few weeks. So, altho it's really hard to say, I'm gonna hafta just make a blind choice and go with Foley.

My Pick: Mick Foley

My overall rating prediction (1-10 scale): 8, possibly 9
