| ELIGIBILITY: Players may compete in only one division and in one event. All ages as of July 31, 2000. |
| ENTRY PROCEDURE: All players will complete an individual entry form with signed waiver, which may be sent to the KSG office or taken to the tryouts. Each player will bring to the tryout a $25 check made out to the Keystone State Games in a self addressed stamped envelope. At the end of the selection process those players who are not chosen will have their check returned to them via mail. The checks of those players selected will be forwarded to the KSG office. Once a player has been selected there will be no refund should that player decide not to continue. NOTE: If attending a tryout in less than 14 days, DO NOT mail the entry form, but hand carry it to the tryout. |
| TRYOUTS: Individual tryouts will be held to select 10 players in each division to represent each of the 8 regions at the Finals. If a tryout is canceled for any reason players should attend the next scheduled tryout and/or contact the Regional Sport Coordinator (RSC) or team coach for information, because the KSG office may not be notified of last minute revisions. Athletes must attend at least one regional tryout/trial to be eligible for selection to the Finals’ team. |
| DESCRIPTION: At the Summer Games the 8 teams in each division will compete round robin pool play, which will seed the teams for a single elimination tournament culminating with medal matches. Competition will follow USA Volleyball rules and be held FRI through SUN, August 4- 6 (each division will compete over two days) at St. Francis College in Loretto. |
