- The EU is placing greater emphasis on the areas of dietary exposure, operator exposure and environmental fate and behaviour in order to assess the risk associated with the use of plant protection products. Rivendell is experienced in performing these calculations and can prepare them on your behalf. A tiered approach to exposure assessment is used and the first tier uses existing information to estimate the exposure. Where this first-tier assessment demonstrates unacceptable risk, the calculations can be further refined in subsequent tiers, or key studies can be identified to provide further data.
