Junior Weight Championship:
Ares Vs. "Stunning" Sid Stevens
Stevens and Ares shake hands at the start of the match as a show of mutual respect. They lock up and the champion gets Stevens with a hip toss. Stevens gets right back up to his feet and Ares sends him back down with a spinning heel kick! Ares is trying to show up the challenger but "Stunning" Sid spins up to his feet and gets right up in Ares' face! Ares then challenges Stevens to a test of strength. Stevens doesnt comply and he kicks Ares right in the gut! Stevens whips Ares to the ropes and gets him with a frankensteiner into a cradle:1..2.kickout! What a move by Sid Stevens! Stevens gets Ares right back up to his feet and starts to punch Ares right between the eyes. Stevens sends Ares to the ropes and gets him with a japanese arm drag. Ares gets right up and then Stevens sends him over the top rope and to the outside with a spinning head scissors. Stevens then connects on Ares with a springboard topei! Stevens then grabs a chair. He throws it at Ares and nails him right in the bridge of the nose. Ares' nose is busted open and it looks broken! Stevens rolls the champion into the ring and then heads to the top rope. Stevens connects with a perfect moonsault and then covers:1..2.kickout! Ares is showing why he is the Juniorweight Champion with this resiliency! Stevens gets Ares to his feet and he tries a powerbomb which is converted into a frankensteiner by Ares! Ares grabs Stevens and sends him to the ropes, then connects with a high body block! Ares is now headed to the top rope. WHat is he up to? Ares is sizing up Stevens...450 SPLASH!!! Ares pulls out a new card! Ares with a cover:1..2..and a half!!! OH MY GOD! How did Stevens muster the strength to kick out! Ares gets Stevens up but Stevens suprises him by grabbing him and getting him with an acid drop! Stevens with a cover:1..2..kickout! Man, neither of these guys are going to give up! Stevens gets Ares to his feet and sets him up for a suplex but Ares blocks it...But now Stevens takes Ares' legs from under him...wait a second...IT'S...it's Sid's "Ego Tamer"!!! Ares is trying to get to the ropes...he's reaching but he can't make it...ARES TAPS OUT! He HAD to. Nobody has survived the "Ego Tamer" and we have a new champ!!!

Sam Snead: Say it one more time Jeffries! But you're right, it was one hell of a match. After all this time, Ares FINALLY loses the JW Title! He did have one hell of a reign!
