Goram Back In?

Ther's been plenty of talk that Andy Goram will return to the Scotland squad sometime in the near future. Craig Brown is quoted as saying 'I'm delighted Andy's back' and that there was never any rift between the two players. The 34 year-old keeper has had a rough ride recently with allegations being made by his soon to be ex-wife about possible connections with loyalist paramilitaries drawing attention away from his football. Goram steadfastly refutes the allegations, saying that 'these stories always seem to coincide with a time in my life when things are going well. I'm sick of it.' Goram may well start Scotland's next qualifier if he continues to play regularly for Motherwell.

Leighton Walks Out: Jim Leighton walked out of the Scotland squad on Monday 12th October for undisclosed reasons, the long-serving keeper has appeared over 90 times for his country and kept 45 clean sheets, he will be sorely missed. Neil Sullivan will start in goal against the Faroe Islands.

Injury Crisis:

Scotland have serious injury problems in the run-up to Saturday's game.
Hopkin, Burley, Lambert and Collins are all out-of-action, leaving a limited choice in the midfield. Ian Durrant has been called-up to fill one of the gaps, but with Barry Ferguson and Gordon Durie also unable to play Estonia could be more than a handful.
Christian Dailly is said to be an uncertain for the fixture as he has Tonsilitis and a flu-like infection. Kick-off - 3.00pm GMT.
