Profile: Super Ally is a national hero, so if you'r ereading this page and don't already know that he's won the European Golden boot award, and top scorer in Scotland on many occassions then you are either foreign or don't watch football.
Even when he played for Rangers, everyone had to love him cos he had this knack of scoring important goals - like the one that helped Scotland qualify for Euro '96 against greece at Hampden (his first touch of the ball!).
His form this season so far has seen him brought back into Craig Brown's plans, which in many Scotmen's eyes should have been the case before the World Cup (a stage where Coisty would surely have been at home). Anyway bygones are bygones and although he showed little against Lithuania, the service was more to blame than him.
Hopefully Super Ally's goals can get Scotland back on track in their group.
