Profile: The Celtic captain would appear to be an immovable fixture in the Scotland team, even though there are many that feel he is simply not up to the job any more. Craig Brown is obviously not one of the dissenters though as Boyd appeared in all the games at the World Cup, and has now gained over 50 caps for his country. Take nothing away from the man he is a vastly talented and usually solid defender, however his lack of space was exposed by Morocco repeatedly and it would appear time that a replacement, of younger and nippier stock is sought.
