EWA Presents Live from

the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, CA

Richard Riley: "Good evening everyone. Welcome to Anaheim, California and the home of the Mighty Ducks of the NHL. We've got a great show as always with three big title matches. With me as always is the Executive Vice President of the EWA, Wayne Rothschild."

Wayne Rothschild: "Thank you, Richard. In addition to the three big title matches we also have the first round of the tag team title tournament. It's possible that one of these teams tonight will walk out of the ring at Yuletide Beatings with some gold strapped around their waist."

Richard Riley: "Speaking of beatings, how are you feeling? You took one hell of a beating at the end of last week's Extreme Measures!"

Wayne Rothschild: "I'm doing ok. I had a bit of a concussion. Grayson did nail me pretty good. I guess he showed everyone what a big man he is by attacking a man confined to a wheelchair. Grayson and I may never have been friends but I always respected him as a wrestler but after what he pulled last week, I've lost all respect for the man."

Richard Riley: "Very understandable and we have the whole show to discuss this but right now let's get to the ring for out first match."

Myke Fury vs. Violent Dark

"Disposable Heroes" by Metallica hits the loudspeakers. The fans begin giving a mixed reaction as Myke Fury walks out from behind the curtains. Fury walks down the isle with a look of determination on his face. He looks well-prepared.

As Fury steps into the ring, the industrial sounds of Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like A Hole" blasts over the loudspeakers. The fans begin booing as Violent Dark makes his way down to the ring, mask and all. VD rolls into the ring and its met with a flurry of punches from Fury. VD tries to fight back, but it doesn't work. Suddenly, Fury is met with a stinging sensation in his crotch as VD nails him with a low blow!

Winner: Myke Fury via Fury's Hell

Wayne Rothschild: "That was a huge win for Myke Fury. His unbeaten streak continues."

Richard Riley: "This should catapult him up in the EWA rankings. Violent Dark on the other hand suffers another setback in the heavyweight division. It seems like ever since Drifter and him started concentrating on the tag team titles, neither man has been able to win a singles match."

Wayne Rothschild: "Good point but Death Row is the #1 ranked team right now and they received a bye to the semi-finals of the tournament."

Richard Riley: "Speaking of the tag tournament, the next match will kick off the first round of the tournament. Both teams are relatively new although Elite have a few matches under their belts."

Elite from the Street vs. Surviving Justice

Surviving Justice, Que and Dee Brown are waiting in the ring for the entrance of their opponents. 2 Pac’s "Hit Em Up" begins playing. Elite from the Street come running down to the ring. The two of the slide into the ring and before they can get to their feet Que and Brown begin to put the boots to them. The ref has no other option but to call for the match to begin.

Brown is beating on Walker while Que is taking on DP. Walker and DP have gotten to their feet and all four of them are trading lefts and rights. Walker is starting to get an advantage over Brown and rocks him against the ropes. He reaches back and clotheslines Brown over the top rope and to the floor. Walker now turns around and helps out his partner, who is being beaten down by Que. Walker lands a forearm onto the back of Que and he drops down to his knees. Walker continues to connect with punches to the back of Que as DP regains his composure. DP gets up and the two then give a double vertical suplex Que. DP floats over and tries to get a quick pin.

1…twwww… no too soon!

Walker and DP confer with each other as Que staggers back to his feet. They decide to go for a double clothesline and go to get momentum by bouncing off of the ropes. This is halted when Brown grabs the legs of DP and pulls him out of the ring. Walker turns his attention toward Brown and DP, and Que sees the chance and he dropkicks Walker in the back of the head, and Walker crashes to the mat. Brown enters the ring, and shortly after DP does as well. DP gets to his feet and charges at Que. He tackles him and the two begin trading punches as they roll around on the mat. Brown picks up and slams Walker back to the mat, and instantly follows it up with a series of elbow drops. After connecting solidly with three elbow drops he makes a pin attempt.

3… no save by DP!

Que follows behind DP and nails him in the back of the head. Brown and Que are both back on the offensive and seem to begin to gain more momentum by the second. Que picks up DP and tosses him out of the ring. Que and Brown signal each other for something, and Brown picks up Walker and throws him into the ropes. At this time Que has hopped up onto the top turnbuckle. Brown catches Walker and picks him up only to drop him face first to the mat. Right after the Que executes a senton bomb but Walker rolls out of the way. Brown tries to pick up Walker, and before he does Walker rolls him up in a small package. Que tries to make the save but DP grabs his leg and pulls him out of the ring as the ref makes the count.

Winners: Elite from the Street via small package

Richard Riley: "And the Elite from the Street move on to the next round."

Wayne Rothschild: "A strong showing by Elite. Surviving Justice wrestled a tough match but Elite always seemed to be one step ahead of them. Their next match should be interesting because the now must face the #1 seeded team, Death Row. Death Row and Elite are no strangers and I'm sure that both teams would love to get their hands on one another."

Richard Riley: "Next up we have a special interview with the reigning EWA Cruiserweight champion, "Maverick" Matt Blanchard!"

The lights dim as the sounds of "The Launch" by Boston come over the PA systems. Lights flicker as the "Maverick" Matt Blanchard steps out from behind the curtain. The crowd erupts. There is a stern look of determination as the Maverick stalks to the ring, not waiting to slap hands with the fans. He slides under the bottom ropes and grabs the microphone.

Maverick: "Did you actually think I'd let another week go by without an appearance from the EWA Cruiserweight Champion? (Big Cheer) I've been listening a lot lately to DI, as they grow in number and titles. You guys really think that you are something, huh? Well, the Maverick is here to bring you down a step. You see, I've already beaten one of your champions in the Irish Rebel. Remember our little run-in? I certainly did. I had you beat, both you and I know it. But that's in the past. Since then, I have captured the EWA Cruiserweight Title AND the attention of the entire EWA fan base. You see, Rebel. You can be beat. You don't know the first thing about being a true champion. You wanna know what a true champion is all about? Watch and learn."

"VP Rothschild, I want you to send out any contender the EWA has to this Cruiserweight Title. I'm gonna make an example of them to show how a real champion conducts himself. (Crowd Erupts). Come on, Rothschild. There's gotta be someone back there who wants a title shot? Anyone."

Suddenly, "I Love Myself" comes through the arena as John Tang seizes his opportunity. He mumbles to himself on the way to the ring, convincing himself he could possibly be the Cruiserweight Champion. The Maverick looks upset that someone has answered his challenge. He jumps out of the ring and meets Tang halfway up the ramp.

Maverick nails Tang with a kick to the gut. He drags him down to ringside and rams him into the steel post. Maverick picks Tang up and rolls him into the ring. Side headlock by the Maverick. He wrenches down, and Tang's face turns beet red. Tang whips him off into the ropes only to be met with a shoulder tackle. Maverick again bounces off the ropes but Tang hiplocks him over. Dropkick by Tang sends Maverick reeling into the corner.

Tang jumps on the ropes and starts hammering Maverick with fists. One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven. Tang jumps down and celebrates. The Maverick slinks through the ropes to the outside to catch his breath.

Tang comes over to the corner, and Maverick pulls his legs out from under him. He crotches Tang in the corner against the ring post. The Maverick slides in the ring and continues the assault. He picks him up. Standing Vertical Suplex. He's been up there for at least five seconds, and down Tang comes crashing to the mat. Maverick picks him up and nails a Side Russian Leg Sweep. Maverick rolls on top for the cover.

Kickout.

Maverick stands and waits for Tang to get to his feet. He thrusts a Superkick right to the chops. Tang is out. the Maverick is going to the outside to grab the microphone.

Maverick: "It's time. Lights Out. This one's for you Rebel."

The Maverick throws the microphone down at ringside and picks Tang up for his finisher. Wait, he's synched on the Dragon Sleeper. Tang is out already. The referee raises Tang's hand for ...

Once

Twice

Third time!! The referee calls for the bell!

Winner: "Maverick" Matt Blanchard via a new version of Lights Out.

"Maverick" jumps up on the turnbuckle and raises his arms. Irish Rebel comes running out of the back. He grabs the Cruiserweight belt, jumps into the ring and nail "Maverick" from behind with it. Rebel climbs up to second turnbuckle and nails a belly-to-back suplexes "Maverick" down to the mat. He picks up the belt and throws it on top of "Maverick."

Richard Riley: "I'd bargain that Matt Blanchard got more than he was asking for."

Wayne Rothschild: "Just like a member of Death Row to attack someone from behind. "Maverick" is an up and coming start and I think that maybe Rebel is just afraid to face him again."

Richard Riley: "If memory serves me correctly, didn't Rebel already beat "Maverick?"

Wayne Rothschild: "You are correct, oh knowledgeable one but at that time "Mav" was just a rookie in the EWA and Rebel still needed interference from DI to pull the match out. This next match will be the second of our first round matches in the tag team tournament."

Richard Riley: "This should be one match to watch. I would think that you especially would be watching this match closely."

Wayne Rothschild: "Given my past with both the Riot Squad and Kenneth Morlock, you would think so. That like many things was in the past when I was an active wrestler but now my main concern is keeping things under control and giving the fans what they want and right now they probably want to see some more top notch action."

Riot Squad vs. South Syndicate Soldiers

The moment that "Vietnow" by Rage Against the Machine begins to play, the fans erupt in a chorus of boos that deafen the arena. Rob Riot and Helldorado walk out of the entranceway and the fans, if possible boo even louder. Both men are wearing Riot Squad T-shirts and Rob Riot has a very cocky look on his face. Helldorado's expression is covered by his mask but he also appears to act very smug. The tow wrestler who possibly may have been the two most hated wrestlers in EWA history make their way to the ring for the first time in many months.

"Push" by Matchbox 20 begins to play and the fans quiet down. There is a mixture of boos and cheers for the relatively well known team of Kenneth Morlock and Matt Allen, the duo known as the South Syndicate Soldiers. The two men head down to the ring wearing brand new EWA: South Syndicate Soldier T-Shirts. They both appear very focused on the match and moving onto the next round of the tournament.

The bell rings and the match starts with Riot and Morlock into the ring. The two men circle and then tie up. Riot, the stronger man backs Morlock into a neutral corner. Riot to the surprise of everyone gives a clean break. The two men lock up again and Morlock is pushed back into the Riot Squad's corner. Riot gives another clean break but slaps Morlock across the face and begins laughing. Morlock gives a slap back that gets a reaction from the crowd.

Riot charges into the corner but Morlock ducks under and comes back with some punches and chops. Morlock whips Riot across the ring to his corner where he is nailed by Allen. Morlock gives a quick back elbow to Helldorado then backs away. He catches Riot by surprise with a dropkick as he backs out of the SSS corner.

Morlock grabs Riot's arm and pulls him to his corner. He tags in Allen, the more powerful one of the team who nails Riot with a quick boot then picks him up for a slam. Riot bounces back up but is met with a clothesline from Allen. Allen picks up Riot, whips him into ropes and catches him on the rebound for a powerslam and cover…

Kick out by Riot.

Riot is back up on his feet and he goes chest to chest with Allen. Riot pushes Allen who pushes back. The two men lock up and Riot gets Allen into a headlock. Riot sends Allen into the rope. A lead from by Riot and Allen comes back with a shoulder block that sends Riot to the canvas. Allen stands waiting for Riot to get up. Riot goes over and tags in his opponent.

Helldorado comes in and he and Allen immediately tie up. Helldorado nails a knee to Allen's gut and then clubs him over the back with an axe handle blow. He grabs Allen from behind and nails a belly-to-back suplex and bridges….

Allen kicks out.

Allen goes to make the tag to Morlock but Helldorado cuts him off. He drags Allen over to his corner and then tags Riot back in. Riot quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle and comes off with a fist to Allen's face. Riot begins clubbing Allen across the back. Riot picks up Allen, whips him into the ropes and nails a back drop. Allen looks in trouble.

Riot picks up Allen, whips him into the Riot Squad corner and then follows in with a back elbow to the face. He makes a quick tag to Helldorado while holding Allen in the corner. The Two men begin pounding on Allen and Morlock comes into the ring to try to help out but the referee intercepts him. The referee forces Morlock back to his corner allowing the Riot Squad to continue its double-teaming. They whip Allen into the ropes and catch him for a double flapjack. Helldorado goes to make a cover….

2…

Morlock makes the save. All four men are now in the ring. Morlock and Riot are going at it while Helldorado pounds on a weakened Matt Allen. Morlock begins pounding on Riot and pushes him into the corner. Repeated chops to the chest by Morlock. Helldorado has Allen in the opposite corner. Helldorado nails Allen with repeated kicks to the midsection. Morlock grabs Riot's arm while Helldrorado does the same to Allen.

The two men whip their opponents out of their corners but Allen buts on the brakes and reverses it, sending Helldorado right at is opponent. Riot and Helldorado slam into each other and then Riot is nailed by a dropkick from Morlock while Helldorado is nailed with a clothesline from Allen. Riot stagger up to his feet and stumbles over to the ropes but is nailed by a double clothesline that sends him over the tope rope and out to the floor.

The SSS begin double-teaming Helldorado. They whip him into the ropes for a double backdrop. Morlock grabs Helldorado by the hair and pulls him to his feet. He whips him into the ropes and leapfrogs over his opponent as he comes back. Helldorado runs right into a boot from Matt Allen that doubles him over. Allen grabs Helldorado and slams him down with a big powerbomb. The SSS signal for their finisher, the Syndicate Spike.

Morlock climbs to the top rope while Allen sets up Helly for a piledriver. Riot climbs back up onto the apron and moves to knock Morlock off the rope. Morlock sees him , flies off nailing a clothesline to the outside that sends both men tumbling to the ring floor. Allen nails the piledriver. The referee goes to order the two men back into the ring while Allen goes for a pin. Allen has Helldorado pinned but the referee is outside the ring trying to break apart Riot and Morlock.

Riot and Morlock continue to slug it out when someone suddenly jumps over the ring railing. Grabs a chair and jumps into the ring. It's Rage, the third ember of the Riot Squad. He nails Allen across the back of the head with the chair and then picks up Allen and DDTs him onto the chair. He rolls Hellrorado on top of an apparently dazed Allen, jumps out of the ring and runs to the back.

The referee sees the pin in the ring and jumps back in to make the count. Morlock tries to get back into the break up the count but Riot stops him.

3!!!

Riot climbs back into the ring and begins celebrating with a very dazed Helldorado while Morlock goes to check on his partner with a very dejected look on his face. The Riot squad continues celebrating as VP Rothschild comes out of the entrance in his wheelchair holding a microphone.

VP Rothschild: You boys may have been able to pull the wool over everyone's eyes for the past several months and you surprised us all last week when both you boys somehow "miraculously " came back from the dead. You even found some way to get back into the EWA and the tag team tournament but believe me, I'm keeping you boys on a VERY short leash. You may have surprised everyone with that little stunt you just pulled but I've got the bigger surprise for both of you. You see, your little buddy Rage just cost you the match. I'm overturning the decision, so that means that the winners of the match by disqualification are the South Syndicate Soldiers.

Riot and Helldorado can't believe it. They begin slamming their fists into the ropes and yelling in the direction of Rothschild. They jump out of the ring and begin running towards Rothschild who has returned to the back as the SSS begin to celebrate the reverse decision.

Winners: South Syndicate Solders via Overturned Decision

Richard Riley: "It looks like VP Rothschild is trying to make a statement. Sometimes I think he forgets that he is still confined to a wheelchair and can't defend himself anymore!"

VP Rothschild comes back into the booth.

Wayne Rothschild: "Sorry! I had a little business to take care of!"

Richard Riley: "I'll say! What was that all about?"

Wayne Rothschild: "You see, we have a group of individuals that think that because we are an extreme fed that there are no rules. The last time the Riot Squad darkened the halls ofd the EWA they especially thought they could do anything they want. I hope you boys got the message, you can't!"

Richard Riley: "I guess you'll be keeping a watchful eye on certain wrestlers here?"

Wayne Rothschild: "If that's what it takes to get some order here then yes, that is exactly what I'll be doing. I'm tired of talking about this, what next?"

Richard Riley: "that would a cruiserweight match between Tyrant and "Deadly" Daelin Ashland."

Wayne Rothschild: "Let's not waste anymore time and just go to the match!"

"Deadly" Daelin Ashland vs Tyrant

"Smack My Bitch UP" begins to pump through the arena. The boos begin almost immediately as Tyrant walks from the entranceway followed by Drifter, the current leader of Death Row. The two DR members begin jawing with the fans and make mock motions like they will strike some of the fans. Tyrant jumps over the top rope into the ring and bounds across into the opposite side ropes as the boos continue.

"Walk" by Pantera begins to play and the fans let out a modest cheer. Daelin Ashland walks out. He does not look like the same Ashland we have seen in the past. His face is blank and he is basically ignoring the fans. Absent is his wife and valet, Sarah Ashland. He slowly walks to the ring with no enthusiasm and climbs into the ring.

The bell rings and Tyrant runs directly at Ashland. He catches his opponent unaware and nails him with a quick forearm shot. Tyrant forces Ashland back into the corner and begins nailing him with left and right hand shots. Tyrant nails a few kicks to the midsection before whipping Ashland into the far corner. Ashland staggers out of the corner from the impact only to be met by a flying forearm shot to the head.

Tyrant jumps to his feet and starts stomping on the back and shoulder of Ashland. Ashland slides out of the ring. He begins circling around the ring but isn't paying attention. Tyrant flies across the ring, going over the top rope and nailing Ashland with a suicide dive.

Tyrant seems to be a little dazed from the fall but is still the first man to his feet. He grabs Ashland by the hair and goes to lift him up but Ashland nails him with a shot to gut. Ashland responds with another shot and then another. Ashland comes back with a reverse knife edge chop that backs up Tyrant. Tyrant gives a quick thumb to the eye, grabs Ashland by the arm and goes to whip Ashland into the ring railing. Ashland puts on the brakes and reverses it sending Tyrant crashing into the steel ring barrier. Tyrant staggers back and Ashland backdrops him onto the concrete.

Drifter comes around to help out Tyrant and Ashland backs off. Drifter pulls his DR teammate to his feet and the referee orders Drifter to back away. Ashland climbs back onto the ring apron and goes flying off. Tyrant sidesteps at the last second and Ashland goes crashing into the ring-railing throat first. Ashland hits the ground holding his throat and kicking wildly with his legs.

Tyrant picks up Ashland and rolls him into the ring. He then climbs up to the top rope and flies off with frog splash. He goes for a pin…

3…Kickout by Ashland.

Tyrant begins arguing with the referee. He climbs up to the top rope again. He flies off looking to hit a shooting star press but Ashland gets his knees up. Tyrant's midsection connects with Ashland's knees and he goes rolling around on the mat holding his gut.

Ashland staggers to his feet and goes over towards Tyrant. He picks him up for what appears to be a scoop slam but drops him straight down onto his knee for a gut buster. Ashland locks on an abdominal stretch. You can see the look of pain on Tyrant's face. Tyrant tries to move to the ropes but Ashland blocks him. Tyrant begins to sink down to one knee but he gathers his strength and hip tosses Ashland to the canvas.

The two men stagger back to their feet and begin exchanging blows in the middle of the ring. Tyrant gives a quick boot to midsection, runs back to the ropes and flies off for what looks like a Lou Thesz press. Ashland catches him, puts him in a headlock and nails a cradle DDT. Ashland gets up and lets out a yell, finally showing some emotion for the first time all night. Ashland goes to over to the turnbuckle and climbs to the top. It looks like Ashland is going for his 450 splash finisher.

Someone starts to run down to the ring. It's Roadkill! He heads towards the ring and jumps up on the apron but the referee stops him from entering the ring. The referee and Roadkill begin arguing. The referee is distracted allowing Drifter climb up onto the apron near Ashland. He moves towards Ashland trying to knock him from the top rope.

Ashland gives a kick to Drifter's face knocking him from the apron. Ashland turns towards the outside and waits for Drifter to get to his feet. He jumps off and looks like what is supposed to be a flying huricanranna. Drifter catches him and slams him down for a monster powerbomb right onto the concrete. Ashland looks completely out of it.

Drifter rolls Ashland back into the ring as Roadkill drops from the apron and starts to make his way to the back. The referee turns and sees both men laying on the mat and starts to make a count….

Winner: Tyrant via the Payoff

Richard Riley: "Tyrant gets a big win. He just moved himself into contention for the Cruiserweight title and a rematch against the "Maverick"!"

Wayne Rothschild: "Ashland just didn't seem like himself tonight. He wrestled a tough match but he just didn't seem to be able to get on track."

Richard Riley: "I'm sure the distractions from Roadkill and Drifter didn't help either."

Wayne Rothschild: "Good point but that's what happens sometimes."

Richard Riley: "I'm sure time will heal even Daelin Ashland's wounds but unfortunately for us we have to move on. Next up is the last of our first round matches in the tag team tournament."

Wayne Rothschild: "The upstart team known as Corporate Insurrection takes on the #2 seeded team of Natural Criminals"

Natural Criminals vs. Corporate Insurrection

The entrance music for Corporate Insurrection begins and the crowd erupts. The cheers become even louder when Johnny Sledge and Shawn Griffin begin to make there way down the aisle. They slap high fives with some of the fans as they make their way down the aisle. They get to the ring and Sledge slides into the ring while Griffin climbs the ropes and hops into the ring.

Sledge and Griffin begin discussing their game plan as the music fades into "Judgment Day" by Method Man. Shawn Foster and Natural Born Killah, collectively known as Natural Criminals, make their way down to the ring, but at first look it seems as though they might still be feeling the effects of the suicide of their mentor Higor Rosa. They get to the ring and the ref checks all four men. After that Sledge and Foster leave the ring and the match begins.

Griffin knees NBK as he tried to go for a collar and elbow tie up. NBK doubles over, and Griffin hooks both arms and takes him over in a double under hook suplex. Both get right up, but Griffin is the one that capitalizes. He connects with a beautiful standing dropkick. Griffin hops up quickly and makes the tag to Sledge.

Sledge hops over the top rope and picks up NBK as Griffin leaves the ring. Sledge sets him up for a vertical suplex, but as he gets him straight up, but he corkscrews down in front of him onto his back. Sledge rolls back and back up to his feet, only to drop down and deliver a wicked forearm to the forehead of NBK. Sledge goes and tags Griffin back in.

As Griffin gets back into the ring, NBK has gotten up to all fours. Griffin dives toward NBK and catches him in a dive bomb cradle. He rolls NBK over onto his shoulders and the ref makes the count.

Th… no, almost!

Griffin gets up and he lets up NBK as well. He then tries to hip toss NBK, but NBK blocks it and goes for one of his own. Griffin blocks it as well, but NBK knees Griffin in the gut then lands a rocker dropper onto Griffin. NBK begins to crawl to make the tag to Foster. Griffin, even though it was a high impact move from NBK, because he has taken so much of a beating all ready, it didn’t have as much effect as it could have had. Both men make the tag to their respective partners at the same time and they meet in the center of the ring.

Foster goes for a quick boot to the gut but Sledge blocks it, and Foster thinks quickly and jumps up with a kick to the back of the head of Sledge. He picks Sledge right back up and sets him up for a pile driver. He tires two times before he can connect with it. Sledge seems to be out and Foster makes the cover.

1… twwww… no!

Foster picks up Sledge and throws him into the ropes. The first time he comes off the ropes Foster goes for a clothesline but Sledge ducks it. On the rebound, Sledge catches him in a Lou Thesz Press. Sledge doesn’t make a pin attempt and he gets up. Sledge goes for an irish whip of his own, and as Foster bounces of the ropes near his corner he makes a quick tag to NBK which Sledge does not see. Sledge catches Foster with a blood curdling spine buster, but before he can make a pin NBK drags Sledge off and starts to pummel him to the mat. NBK picks Sledge up and begins to go for a tombstone pile driver. Sledge reverses the move and connects with a sit down tombstone pile driver. Foster tries to attack Sledge but is met by a clothesline from Griffin that sends him out of the ring. Griffin calls for their finisher, the Hostile Takeover, as Sledge sets up NBK. Sledge hits the springboard leg drop and Griffin hits the springboard moonsault on NBK. Griffin makes the cover while Sledge holds Foster away from the pin.

Winners: Corporate Insurrection via Hostile Takeover

Richard Riley: "Corporate Insurrection with a huge, huge upset of the #2 seed in the tournament. I guess the team of Johnny Sledge and Shawn Griffin are for real!"

Wayne Rothschild: "All the other teams better keep an eye out. We may just be seeing the next EWA tag team champions. DI also better watch out."

Richard Riley: "Next up with have one of your favorite competitors, Tommy Grayson defending the TV title against a man who is on a small win streak, Roadkill!"

Wayne Rothschild: "you know as an EWA executive, I must act in an unbiased manner but on a personal note, I hope Roadkill wipes the floor with Grayson!"

Richard Riley: "You never know, you might get your wish."

Wayne Rothschild: "No chance! My luck hasn't been that good recently."

TV Title Match

Roadkill vs. "The Loose Cannon" Tommy Grayson

Suddenly all the lights in the arena go down and we feel the pounding of bass drum as "The Beautiful People" by Marylin Manson blares through the arena. Suddenly a spotlight shines from the far side of the arena and lights up the entrance way as ROADKILL steps through the curtian. As he is walking toward the ring the ring anouncer begins the introductions.

Timothy Braddock: Ladies and gentlemen .. this match is for the EWA World Television Title. Introducing first .. making his way to the ring. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs in at 249 lbs. He is the challanger, his name is ROADKILL!!!!

ROADKILL finishes his walk to the ring and steps between the ropes as the lights come back on. He walks over to his corner as the ref checks for forigen objects. Suddenly the music changes and the lights go dim as "Sympathy for the Devil" by The Rolling Stones comes over the PA system. As Tommy Grayson steps thorugh the curtian, there are explosions all down the rampway. As Tommy Grayson walks down the rampway it looks almost as if the smoke follows him.

Timothy Braddock: And introducing the champion. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs in at 262 lbs. He is the EWA World Television Champion. He is "The Loose Cannon" Tommy Grayson.

DING-DING-DING

The announcer steps out of the ring as Grayson approaches. As Grayson slides under the bottom rope ROADKILL is on him kicking away. He continues this barrage until Grayson falls back out of the ring. ROADKILL follows and continues his attack. He drags Grayson over to the spanish announcers table and grabs the cords for the monitors and proceeds to choke Grayson with them. ROADKILL is choking him as if he wants to kill him. The ref comes out of the ring and begins to put the count on

Richard Riley: "Well, tonight doesn't turn out to be the night Death Row takes home gold."

Wayne Rothschild: "Well it would have been if DI hadn't stuck their nose into the match again. Maybe I should go down and change that decision. Nah. I'll let then work these things out on their own. Don't worry, I'll be watching the next match like a hawk and if DI tries any more of their BS then I'll make sure that they pay.

Richard Riley: "It's time once again for the main event. Cyris's lethal lottery kicks off as the man once known as DJ Friday gets his shot at gold."

Wayne Rothschild: "This is just Cyris's way of having to avoid top ranked contenders like Suicide King and Johnny Sledge. I'll let Cyris have his fun but only up to a certain point. Let's just get this travesty over with."

Dog Collar Match for the Global Hardcore Title

Dawgbone vs. Cyris

Cyris steps up to the ring apron holds his belt high and points a finger at Dawgbone and yells out, "You're a dead man." He climbs into the ring and the ref then puts the collar around both wrestlers neck and calls for the bell.

Since he is right next to a turnbuckle Dawg reaches over and slaps the top turnbuckle, he drags Cyris with him and goes towards the second corner, by this though Cyris has gotten to his feet and begins to pummel Dawg in the head with the chain wrapped around his hand. He takes a swing but Rebel ducks and goes running out of the ring while "Maverick" chases him. Corporate Insurrection and "Maverick" continue to battle with the three members of DI as VP Rothschild comes out of the back. The three members of DI are in the ring while "Maverick" and Corporate Insurrection stand in the isle.

VP Rothschild: "Alright! That's it. I've had enough of Devastation, Inc. bullshit week in and week out. Last week, Grayson, you put your hands on me. ME! This week you put your hands on another EWA executive. This is a big no-no. So what I plan on doing is fining you one hundred thousand dollars for attacking EWA officials. "

"You might call yourself "The Loose Cannon" but that doesn't give you the right to put your hands on me, Ryan or any authorized EWA official. I suggest you talk to a shrink about your little problems before you don't have any money left. You can blame your "so-called" multiple personalities for what you are doing. To be honest Grayson, I think you’re an asshole and each one of your personalities is an asshole."

"Moving right along! DI thinks they run this place well I'm here to tell you just how wrong you are. Irish Rebel, you obviously have a lot of energy to keep running out here in almost every match. I am ordering that the Irish Rebel defends the EWA North American title against "Maverick" Matt Blanchard at Yuletide Beatings.

The fans begin to cheer and Rebel slams his fists against the ropes.

VP Rothschild: "You know, it just occurred to me that we still need a main event for the next PPV. Since both you and Cyris think you are such tough guys and want to beat up on people so much, why don't you beat up on each other. That's right! The main event of Yuletide Beatings will be Tommy Grayson versus Cyris for the Global Hardcore title and to make things more fun, there MUST be a winner. Just so you can't take the easy way out, the match will be no DQ and no count out. It's pinfall or submission only! Oh yeah boy! I forgot to say one more thing. Have a good night!"

Rothschild wheels to the back in his Wheelchair while Sledge helps VP Ryan to the back as Griffin and Blanchard follow. The three members of DI stand in the ring, all very unhappy. The picture freezes on Grayson and Cyris as the show ends.
