WWF Rumors
*Al Snow and Road Dogg Jesse James will be having a best two out of three matches to , to finally decide who the so called, "King of Hardcore" is. The final match should take place at St. Valentines Day Massacre where a new Hardcore Champion should be crowned.

*The World Wrestling Federation drew 13,597 fans for a gate of $630,050 for the show that was held at the Arrowhead Pond. The show was a sell-out and had the largest gate since Wrestlemania 12. The following nights Raw broadcast from the Phoenix, Arizona drew 13,538 for a gate of $274,710. While the Raw tapings in Tuscon, Arizona was a advanced sell-out of 6,411 for a $160,899 gate.

*On NBC's "Extra" TV Show they had a little segment on the commercials going to be air during the Super Bowl. Some numbers they mentioned were that it cost 1.6 million dollars for a 30 second ad and that rates for the 30 seconds spots were up 23% from last year and are the highest ever. They also mentioned some ads that are going to air during the big game. Some
mentioned were Budweiser, Pepsi, and a independent Ice Cream Company that is getting there air time paid for by Mail Boxes Etc. in a competition. They also mentioned that Nike is not airing a commercial this year due to "low funds". They mentioned alot more ads but nothin about the World Wrestling Federations 30 second ad of "get it".

*Ron Howard, known as the director of Apollo 13 and Ransom, is funding a biography film of Mick Foley called, "Beyond the Mat: The Biography of Mick Foley"

The film will contain footage of many of Mick Foley's matches not only from the WWF but also other organizations as well as Japan. It also includes i nterviews with Mick, his family, his friends, and his co-workers.

Highlights of the film include the infamous "Dude Love" home movie shot in Mick's teens and behind-the-scenes footage from Mick on the road and in shows.

The film is scheduled to be released at the Year 2000 Cannes Film Festival.

*Word out of WWFville via PWO(not Pro Wrestling Outsiders)is that there may be a Rumble for the WWF Championship belt. The match could possibly include in Ring weapons such as chairs and those cookie sheets we keep seeing.

The contestants that would be involved are

1-Stone Cold
2-Rock
3-Mankind
4-V.McMahon
5-S.McMAhon
6-Test
7-Kane
8-Titan
9-HHH
10-Chyna

Those were the names mentioned.

This seems to be a purposely released idea being entertained by the WWF, Similair to the August PPV that almost featured Papa Shango(godfather) VS Undertaker.

If this does occur the contestants including Stone Cold will have more than just the Rumble match.

The only contestants excluded would be the 2 McMahons of course.

This came from a reliable source, that is not to say this match is a lock for Wrestlemania. Far from, this is just an idea the WWF is playing with. It would be something though.

*Dave Meltzer reports that the Giant recently had liposuction, at the WWF request, to get ready for his WWF Debut. Meltzer also says that there is a good possibility that the Giant could debut at In Your House "St. Valentines Day Massacre", and get involved in the the Kane vs. X-Pac match. It has been rumored that The Giant would get in a fued with Kane, thus leading to a match at WrestleMania 14.

WCW/NWO Rumors

*What's up everyone? Okay, according to Al Issacs, I have learned that Ric Flair stopped by the John Boy and Billy radio show yesterday. He hinted that his next job in making Eric Bischoff look like a fool could be a soon as this monday night. He might be making Eric B. dance with the NITRO GIRLS.

*Eric Bischoff has told bookers that he wants Chris Jericho to drop from his current upper mid-card status to putting others over due to his not re-signing with World Championship Wrestling.

*Playboy Survey: Pro Wrestler Beats Super Bowl MVP

CHICAGO, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Former Atlanta Falcon and current WCW professional wrestling superstar Bill Goldberg is deemed more athletic than Denver Broncos running back and Super Bowl XXXII MVP Terrell Davis, according to an exclusive Playboy survey. Men and women on more than 40 college campuses completed The Playboy On-Campus Mood Survey, which reveals their attitudes toward athletes, sports participation and an array of sports-related topics. Respondents were asked who, in their opinion, is the best athlete alive. Goldberg ranked 12 out of 455 athletes named, in a three-way tie with Broncos quarterback John Elway and Chicago Cubs superslugger Sammy Sosa.

*It is being reported that WCW has jumped quickly in finding a replacement for Terry Taylor. Apparently WCW has signed Paul Orndorf to the booking staff. Orndoft was a former booker in WCW a few years back, and should pick up the tempo.

*According to Mike Samuda, Wrath has re-signed with World Championship Wrestling for 3 years. No word yet on how much the deal was worth.

*World Championship Wrestling is unhappy with the current direction that the 4 Horsemen stable. They are thinking of moving members out of the group, mainly Steve McMichael and thoughts of Dean Malenko leaving the group have also been bounced around.

Steve McMichael has been on thin ice with WCW officials after returning from a elbow injury in the worse shape of his career and having not trained during the time off. Dean Malenko has not been wrestling due to a severly sprained ankle.

*Macho Man Randy Savage will be back in the ring for WCW in April. He is resting some aches as well as taking some well deserved time off after enduring a rugged schedule for months straight with WCW.

Savage will come in and cause trouble with the NWO wolfpac to start off, as well as a role involving his girlfriend in a rivalry with Miss Elizabeth.

Although Elizabeth and Macho have been seperated for years, they still keep in contact and where both fine when they were told of the proposed angle.

*In watching WCW in the past weeks, you may have noticed that the new nWo is "trimming the fat." This past Monday on WCW Nitro, the nWo attacked Curt Hennig. However, that is just an angle to get Hennig out of action for a while, as his knee is still bothering him immensely. The angle will not stick, as the attack on Hennig is a "master plan" by the reformed Wolfpac to cut ties with the old nWo members such as Stevie Ray and those guys. A while back, Kevin Nash stated that there is only room for six in the nWo Wolfpac. Don't fret though, Hennig is still in.

As the days draw closer and closer to SuperBrawl, look for the ties between the two sides to be severed. All of this will lead up to a big brawl between the two sides, with each of the black and white members ending up in a Konnan-like situation. Eventually, Harlem Heat will reform, which is likely to happen in the near future, as the tag tournament is going on currently. Now, I'm not saying that the team will be in the tourney, only that with the recent push of tag action in WCW, the reformation of the sibling tag team is in the near future.

Also, Scott "Flash" Norton will return to his normal duties as a dominant singles wrestler, as will Brian Adams.
