Disclaimer: If you are a supporter of the TWP or Raven (not the wrestler), don't read what follows, you won't like it . I'm not afraid to say that I'm a dedicated Stooge and don't really care for what you've got to say if you want to complain. If you are an IWA F'n Stooge or just an interested visitor, ENJOY!!!

The Begining-
Since the time of the First Fleet and the conolization of Australia, Sydney and Melbourne have been engaged in a fued of momentous proportions.

The Strengthening-
During the 1960's and early 70's World Championship Wrestling (not the current federation) had an extremely successful run on Australian tv. Stars rose such as Mario Milano and Killer Kowalski.

The Death-
After World Championship Wrestling was axed, wrestling in Australia became almost a non existant  joke to a bunch of backyard jobbers.

The Awakening-
Wrestling in Melbourne has a short revival due to the popularity of one Mario Milano, Australia's own Ric Flair.

The Resurgence-
Wrestling becomes more and more popular and a exciting new federation comes into exsistance in New South Wales, the International Wrestling Australia. (IWA)
 

The Battle-
Obviously due to jealousy, Melbourne based fans turn on there Sydney counterparts and launched a dirty tricks campaign against the IWA and there fans webpages.
One of the most famous incidents occured between Raven, the webmaster of the official site for the ACW and AWA (Melbourne and Sydney feds. Note: AWA later changed their name to Titan Wrestling Promotions) and Terror Australis, a then little known fans page about the IWA. Most of the action took place on Board Rooms where Raven seiged the Terror Australis board with profanities and insults. His reasoning was that he accused Terror Australis of stealing from his Website, Wrestling Down Under, results from various shows around New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Raven seemed to be gaining allies against Terror Australis when many messages were left on the boardroom of Terror Australis stating how they saw the results on WDU beforehand and they knew Terror Australis had stole them.
After several days of pleading for the seige to stop, Terror Australis's owner's, Rob and Jessie (or The Wench as she's known on the boardrooms), were told of a very important discovery. Brat, a Terror Australis regular, had supposedly discovered a commen spelling mistake in many of the reports on both Terror Australis and WDU. This spelling mistake turned out to be Rob's and the tides were turned. WDU was now being accussed of stealing results but Terror Australis did the right thing for Australian wrestling, they let it slide.
The barrage of messages did not stop after the discovery. Raven and his "allies" continued to blast Terror Australis with more and more personal attacks on Rob and Wench. Raven's facade fell through when it was found that his allies were Raven himself under different aliases.
Due to his defeat at Terror Australis, Raven moved on to smaller sites, much like my own, and began another campaign there. The IWA fans who had supported Terror Australis came to the support of the sites attacked by Raven.
Raven moved his opinions onto another IWA name, being that of Paris Tenana. Paris is, was and always will be the best MC in Australia and Raven and his TWP cronies resented his "following". After a short (read, pointless) battle of words, things turned really nasty. Raven began making physical threats which Paris reacted to. Paris issued a challenge for any TWP wrestler to take him on in a one-on-one shoot fight. Despite claiming that Paris was a wimp and a weakling, the TWP wrestlers (namely their Chump, sorry Champion) Red Flair {another US rip off} refused to take up the challenge. This led to alot of crap on the boardrooms in the following weeks between Paris, Raven and IWA-TWP supporters. It got really out of hand when Paris and Raven both claimed to have recieved death threats from the other. Eventually IWA pres, Tyrone Townsend, stept in and ended (sort of) the fued.
 

The Pack Forms-
The IWA holds a great majority of it's shows at the Bankstown Trotting Club (or the IWA Arena as it is known to fans). The AWA (Australian Wrestling Alliance) held their shows at Ingelburn RSL, about 1 hours drive. This of course led to some debate over stealing crowds and the like. With the IWA taking a end of year break, the AWA was renamed to the TWP or Titan Wrestling Promotions in an attempt to cash in on the Big Three in the States. With no IWA shows and an open challenge to the IWA fans to show up to a "real" event, a contingent of IWA fans arrived at Ingelburn RSL and by most accounts, made a boring show watchable. The TWP was annoyed at the response the IWA fans were getting and they became really pissed off when a IWA ref won a raffle they were holding.
Raven came back later to claim that the IWA fans who turned up were all stooges to the IWA and wouldn't know a good wrestling show if it rose up quickly and hit them between the eyes. One IWA fan and "webmaster" JTTS quickly thought of the idea of a fan faction. All the fans and webmaster's Raven attacked during his sieges now went under the collective name of the Stooge World Order. The Stooges follow easy rules, if someone attacks another member, you back them up. This system forced Raven off the Terror Australis boardroom. He later came back with a peace offer which was thrown back in his face. After this, Raven was banished from the Terror Australis boardroom. He then began to build his own group of loyal Melbourne fans who had a thing against the IWA and the sWo. Luckily, most of the shit put out by them is on Raven's own boardroom instead of being spread all over the Aussie pages.

The Future?
Luckily, as I write this(24/12/98), the IWA is coming back in a week to host another show. This will no doubt be a very good show and I'm ready for the crap to start all over again on the boardrooms.
