From experience, every card company that I know of sends back replacement cards. I've sent cards back to Pinnacle, Leaf, Upper Deck, Topps and Fleer and they've all sent back a replacement card(s) back. Depending on the production number of your card, or if it's a insert or part of a regular set, they may not send back that particular card. They'll send you another of the same value.
