11.03.1995 LEAGUE OF WALES CAERSWS 0 BARRY TOWN 3 Knight, James, P.Giles
Barrys first League of Wales visit to Caersws Recreation Ground ended in a comfortable success with three second half goals for the Dragons. Second half substitute, Ross Knight, scored his first goal after rejoining the club, as Barry continued their good run in the League of Wales. Barrys second goal came through the sadly departed Robbie James, whose thunderous thirty yard shot was his only League of Wales goal for Barry in 31 appearances. The final goal was after a Caersws sending off, and came from the penalty spot. Paul Giles took the penalty and smartly netted in the 89th minute, leaving Barry well set for an impressive end to an otherwise disappointing season.

12.03.1996 LEAGUE OF WALES AFAN LIDO 0 BARRY TOWN 3 Pike 2, Barnett
Barry achieved their first League of Wales win at Aberafan Beach on a warm Tuesday March evening. The previous league meeting had been Barrys biggest LoW victory, a 6-0 win, but tonights match wasnt to be the same. Barrys first goal came from Gary Barnett, his second in a Barry shirt, narrowly before half-time. Chris Pike then scored two further goals in the second half to give Barry a comfortable 3-0 victory against a side who had failed to score a League of Wales goal in their previous eleven matches and would ultimately find themselves relegated.

15.03.1997 LEAGUE OF WALES LLANSANTFFRAID 1 BARRY TOWN 0
Barry had their first and only defeat of the League of Wales season in 1996/97 season at supposed bogey side Llansantffraid. Barry had already defeated the Saints a few months previously, winning 2-0 in a Welsh Cup Third Round match. However, on this occasion a 93rd minute goal from Arwel Thomas gave Llansantffraid the win. The surface at Llansantffraids Treflan ground is not always the best, and the short pitch makes it difficult to play a passing game. Both sides had resorted to the long-ball game for much of the match, and as the watch ticked into injury time, Barry had mentally settled for a goalless draw. Then a free-kick was given against Barry on the right, and the cross wasnt cleared. Three players went for the ball, including Tomi Morgan, but it was Thomas who got the last touch deflecting it past Mark Ovendale.

14.03.1998 WELSH CUP FIFTH ROUND BARRY TOWN 3 TOTAL NETWORK SOLUTIONS 1 Ryan 3
Barry went through to the semi-final of the Welsh Cup after a comfortable 3-1 win over Total Network Solutions, formerly Llansantffraid. Under their village name, T.N.S had won the 1996 Welsh Cup by defeating Barry, and the Dragons had no intention of allowing another loss. Ironically, Barrys hat-trick hero, Darren Ryan, has since joined the Borders side. Ryans opening goal came after 14 minutes, and he added a second midway through the second half. T.N.S threatened a comeback with a goal twenty minutes from time, but Ryan struck again in the 75th minute, to ensure Barrys passage to the next round.
