BARRY TOWN 3 MAESTEG PARK ATHLETIC 0
P.Giles, P.Evans, Batchelor
Barry got their revenge for their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Maesteg Park, the Llynfi Valley club's first League of Wales win of the season, by comfortably defeating them 3-0 at Jenner Park. Paul Giles scored Barry's opener in the first half, but Barry had to wait until the middle of the second half to make their territorial dominance count. Paul Evans scored Barry's second goal, with big central defender Willie Batchelor scoring on his return to Barry colours.

G.Barnett (pen)
After six months in Barry colours, Gary Barnett netted his first goal for Barry, in the second half of a drawn match at the Treflan in Llansantffraid. It was a cold evening in mid-Wales, and neither side were able to get a grip on the game. The first half ended goalless, but five minutes into the second half, a foul in the Saints box gave Barry a penalty, which Barnett converted, firing past Andy Mulliner. The Saints hit back in the last few minutes through, scoring from a well-worked penalty to earn a point at home.

CEMAES BAY 1 BARRY TOWN 2
D.Ryan, C.Pike
Appalling weather conditions made a mockery of Barry's attempts to play football on their visit to Cemaes Bay's School Lane. The most Northernly football ground in Wales, and with perhaps the highest gradient slope in the League of Wales, this was a difficult match on a ground where Barry had never previously won. It certainly looked as though lightning would strike twice, as the Anglesey side took the lead after just five minutes, when an attempted backpass was held up by the strong winds and the home team capitalised. However, Barry adjusted well to the conditions, and turned them to the Dragons advantage. Darren Ryan's 21st minute corner sailed to the edge of the penalty area, before swirling back into the goal, unimpeded, while on the hour, substitute Chris Pike latched onto an attempted backpass, and scored the winning goal.

ABERYSTWYTH TOWN 0 BARRY TOWN 2
E.Williams, L.Barrow
Having defeated Aberystwyth 6-1 at Jenner Park only a few weeks earlier, the return game at Park Avenue was very difficult for Barry, with a goal in each half being enough to earn the Dragons three points. Eifion Williams scored Barry's opening goal after 15 minutes, a close range header beating Aber 'keeper, Stuart Kinninmonth. There was a moment of drama just before half-time, when Chris Pike tumbled to the ground. It was only after receiving a booking that the referee realised that he was genuinely injured and was stretchered off. Barry scored their second goal through Lee Barrow after 53 minutes, his looping header stretching the advantage.
