Barry Town v Rhyl
League of Wales, 27th March, 1999

WELCOME

Good afternoon, and welcome to Jenner Park for today's League of Wales match between Barry Town A.F.C.and Rhyl AFC. On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to extend greetings to everyone at today's match, but especially to the players, officials and supporters of Rhyl. We hope that you enjoy your time in Barry, and that we all see an entertaining match this afternoon, as is usual in games between our two clubs.

CROESO

Croeso i Barc Jenner a'r gem bwysig yn y Gynghrair Genedlaethol. Ar ran pawb yn y dref, hoffwn i estyn croeso cynnes i'r chwaraewyr, swyddogion a chefnogwyr ein ymwelwyr heddiw, Clwb Pel-Droed Rhyl. Mwynhewch y gem. Cewch siwrnai ddiogel adref heno.

A FOURTH CHAMPIONSHIP

With only four League of Wales matches to be played after today's game, our fourth LoW championship is almost sealed and ready to be delivered to Jenner Park.

Who knows, if the results in the past few days and today go our way, then Barry may win their fourth title today?!

Even if it isn't wrapped up this afternoon, and I'm sure that Rhyl would have some words to say about that, hopefully you'll be at the other four games (see below) to cheer on the Town to a fourth League title.

REARRANGED LEAGUE OF WALES GAME

On Tuesday, we entertain Carmarthen Town here at Jenner Park at 7:30p.m. (see 'In Town Next'). The match has been moved forward from Saturday, April 17th, due to a clash with Carmarthen's Welsh Cup semi-final against Conwy United.

COMING UP

Today is our final Saturday League of Wales match. However, we still have a number of matches, both here at Jenner Park and further afield. We remain in both the Gilbert League of Wales Cup and FAW Premier Cups, playing Inter Cabletel in both.

On Tuesday, Carmarthen Town are visitors to Jenner Park, with our following match being the away League of Wales game against Inter Cabletel on Tuesday, April 6th at the Cardiff Athletic Stadium. Other matches include our League of Wales visits to Haverfordwest on April 10th and to Aberystwyth on April 24th, the final League of Wales match of the season.

For information on away travel, turn to the Supporters' Club Travel Notes.

Enjoy today's match,
the Yellow Dragon.
