Good Morning, and welcome to Jenner Park for today's League of Wales match between Barry Town and Inter Cabletel AFC. On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to extend warm, seasonal greetings to everyone at today's match, but especially to the players, officials and supporters of Inter Cabletel. We hope that you enjoy your short stay in Barry, have a safe journey home and that we see an entertaining match of football today, as is usual between our two sides.

A LOT OF 'GOL'S
While Barry are fortunate to be regularly chosen as 'match of the day', it is a pleasure to again welcome the cameras to Jenner Park for today's local derby with Inter Cabletel.
Normally, television coverage focusses only two or three matches in the League of Wales programme, but the cameras are all around the country today, ensuring that tomorrow afternoon's edition of 'Gol' on S4C will feature the goals from all of the eight matches which take place today in the National League.
Hopefully, this will become a regular occurrence in 1999, giving extra credence and status to the National League of Wales. Additionally, the television networks will be able to record all of the goals, making the 'Goal of the Month' award truly representative of the goalscoring talents at work in the LoW.
Gol is to be shown at 1:55p.m tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon.
GOAL OF THE MONTH
In mentioning the 'Goal of the Month' award, congratulations to Eifion Williams on winning that prize in November. The goal selected was his second goal against Haverfordwest County in the Third round of the Welsh Cup, in which he spectacularly scored past Frederickson in the Bluebirds' goal.
Eifion was also nominated for his headed goal against Swansea City in the F.A.W Premier Cup, while Mark Dempsey also received a nomination for his goal against Holywell Town in the League of Wales.
COMING UP
The New Year sees us face a new challenge in the form of Cwmbran Town, who visit Jenner Park on Saturday, 2nd January. The Crows sit in second place in the League of Wales, and feature a number of former Barry players, none of whom will make it comfortable for the Dragons next week. Please note that we'll be back at our normal weekend kick-off time of 2:30p.m.
Following that, our first away game of the New Year is at Conwy United in North Wales on Saturday, 9th January. For more information on travel to Conwy, see the Supporters' Club Travel Notes.
Enjoy today's match and have a Happy New Year,
the Yellow Dragon.
