WELCOME

Good afternoon, and welcome to Jenner Park for today's League of Wales match between Barry Town A.F.C. and Connah's Quay Nomads. On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to extend greetings to everyone at today's match, but especially to the players, officials and supporters of Connah's Quay. We hope that you enjoy your time in Barry, and that we all see an entertaining match this afternoon, as is usual in games between our two clubs.

REARRANGED MATCH

The New Year's match with Cwmbran Town has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 26th January, here at Jenner Park. (see 'In Town Next').

The original match was postponed due to 'flu bug which hit the club over the Christmas period.

GILBERT CUP SEMI-FINAL

Following Tuesday night's Gilbert League of Wales Cup quarter-final replay at the Cardiff Athletic Stadium, we meet Inter Cabletel in the semi-final of the competition, this year being played as a 'knock-out'.

The venue has not yet been decided.

PREMIER CUP DRAW

The FAW Premier Cup draw will be made next Saturday on 'Wales on Saturday'. The eight clubs who go into the draw include ourselves, Cardiff City, Cwmbran Town, Inter Cabletel, Merthyr Tydfil, Newtown, Swansea City and Wrexham.

Barry are assured a home draw as a result of our placing in our group.

The group stage of the competition will come to a close this Tuesday.

COMING UP!

Next Saturday, the 23rd January, we make the longest journey for us in the League of Wales, when we visit Caernarfon Town for the second time this season. Following that, we entertain Cwmbran Town in a rearranged League of Wales fixture here at Jenner Park on Tuesday, 26th January. We will be at home again on the following Saturday, 30th January, when Caersws will be the visitors. In February, we'll be on the road on the 6th February, traveling to Rhayader, before returning to Jenner Park for our Welsh Cup tie with Connah's Quay Nomads on the 13th February.
