AFTER last week's schock exit from the Welsh Cup, Barry Town slipped easily back into their winning ways in the league at Jenner Park yesterday.
But TNS showed once again that they are far from overawed when it comes to playing the two-time champions.
It was TNS who went closest to scoring early on as they hit the woodwork twice.
The champions struck first after 35 minutes with a superb move finished with a textbook close-range header by Lee Barrow. But the goal that settled the game resulted from an error.
Eifion Williams received the ball in the TNS penalty area but as he shaped to shoot Mick Gallagher slid in to rip the ball off his foot - only to send it straight into his own net.
