Barry Town maintained their position at the top of the League of Wales with their eighth win of the season against Holywell at Jenner Park yesterday.
But it was not one way traffic throughout the match and for the first half hour things were finely balanced.
But in the 37th minute, a left-foot drive by Welsh squad member Gary Lloyd put the champions in front.
Soon afterwards there was an almost identical shot by Ceri Evans (sic), passing the ball to Eifion Williams who passed to Dempsey on the edge of the box.
A shot into the right-hand corner of the net gave the home team a 2-0 advantage.
Lloyd extended Barry's lead 15 minutes into the second period with a stunning 30-yarder which beat the Holywell defence.
The final nail in the Holywell coffin was hammered in by top-scorer Eifion
Williams who collected a neat cross from Justin Perry to score.
