Barry Town simply outclassed Conwy United in last night's FAW Invitation Cup match at Jenner Park.
Darren Ryan and Eifion Williams each scored four goals as Barry hit seven in the second half to set a new record for the competition.
Ryan has already netted nine in this competition and is well on the way to claiming the 10,000 prize for being the top goalscorer.
His nearest rival is Williams, only two behind, and the closest after that is a mere four.
To be fair, Conwy did not play at all badly. Their young, enthusiastic side tried to play football, although they never looked capable of hurting their hosts.
In three matches between the sides this season, Barry Town have scored 18 goals and conceded one.
Fellow League of Wales side Conwy have now completed their six group fixtures in the FAW Cup and failed to score a goal, earning one point.
Barry went ahead thanks to a Ryan penalty after ten minutes and made it 2-0 with 43 minutes gone, Ryan netting from close range.
Williams, after 54 and 58 minutes, doubled the tally and then Ryan stepped in again with goals after 57, rounding the 'keeper to slot home, and 73.
Williams, on 82 and 84, matched Ryan's effort and then, three minutes from time, Gary Lloyd powered home a header to complete the tally.
The win gives Barry an excellent chance of winning 10,000 for their top goal-scorer plus 12,500 as group winners, although their final match with Bangor will decide that.
Barry used all three substitutes, goalkeeper Patrick Mountain, Craig Evans and Chris Pike after an hour.
The best goal was Williams's fourth after 58 minutes when 'keeper Mark Ovendale saved and threw the ball to Ryan. He laid the ball back for Terry Evans, the former Cardiff City and Wales Under-21 player.
He played the ball forward for Williams, who cheekily chipped the 'keeper and beat Mark Bailey in a dash for possession. The first effort hit a post, but Williams reacted first to force the ball home.
