Day 18
Time to put 'death grip' on NL East
Los Angeles -- One of the great things about going home is the house is going to be in great shape when I walk in. Steve, my brother-in-law, always house sits for us and does a great job taking care of my two pups -- 70-pound golden retrievers. Also, when I get home he usually has the cars washed and detailed. You can't beat family like that.
We came up really big in San Diego and Los Angeles, especially the last two games. Now I think everybody is ready to play in front of the home folks. I hope they come out to the park because I think we are going to turn it up a notch, put a death grip on this division.
As far as some highlights from the trip:
I didn't even go through all my laundry, still have some clean stuff.
