Week 4 Predictions

This week hosts the best matchups in the year to date!

Hippie Kicker's (0-3) vs Aces In The Hole (1-2)
Tbe battle of the Carlson's also comprises the battle
of the bottom of the standings. The Hippies have scored
close to 100 points every week, but has not gotten that
1st win. Look for the streak to end in week 4 against
the Aces. Both teams got hit by the bye week, but AH looks to be
worse off with the loss of his starting qb. Luckily AH has 7
other qbs on the roster that "could start" for any other team in
the leage. Seriously, AH is in bad shape with Emmitt going down
in week 3. Look for Thigpen's score to offset the start of Way by
the Kickers. The bottom line is that AH only have 1 player, and
Freeman can not make up the difference
HK 79 over HK 66

Golden Shower (2-1) vs Delta Chuffers (1-2)
The shower looks to field a tough team this week. Kaufman, Harris
and Moss look to have good days. The big question is if GS
benched Kordell too early in the year. Rumor has it that GS was
forced to go with Banks because he knew that Pit was going up
against the DC's mighty Sea def. Favre will finally have his
breakout game of the year and he tosses 3 tds, with 1 of them to
GS's Brooks. Mccardell will have a good game, but look for the
rest of the DC roster to have a tough day. DC's Holcombe will
prove that he can start in the league as a floater or #2 rb in
DC's case. Look for a low scoring affair that once again leaves
DC without a win.
GS 83 over DC 81

Doo Doo Brown (2-1) vs Fletch F. Fletch (2-1)
Young vs Cunningham. edge Young by 12 (huge game). Davis vs
Bettis. edge Davis by 7. Faulk vs Lane. edge Faulk by 5. Carter
vs Moore. edge Moore by 6. Irvin vs McCaffrey. edge Mccaffrey by
4. Conway vs Anthony. edge Conway by 1. Bennett vs Jackson. edge
Bennett by 5. Del Greco vs Johnson. edge Johnson by 2. Nor vs
Den. edge Nor by 3. That leaves us with DDB 21 ahead of FFF. FFF
will take a hit with having to start Jackson. I want to root for
the underdog fav FFF, but I will have to once again go with the
suprising DDB.
DDB 97 over FFF 76

Little Rascals (2-1) vs Godzilla (2-1)
In the battle of arguably the best 2 teams in the league we will
see a battle to the death. They boys from Jac have finally gotten
hot, and do not expect that to end this week. Tim Brown could
have another tough week against Sanders of Dal. Sharpe and
Murrell should put up good showings once again. KC could set a
new defensive record against lowly Phi. Godzilla has something to
say about all of this. G's RBs will prove to be the strongest in
the league this week when Dillon finally puts up some decent
numbers. Unfortulately the highest scoring RB on the roster this
week (Smith NO) will be on the bench. Odonnell could prove to be
the difference in the close game.
LR 99 over G 94

Well the Yakman went 2-2 last week, bringing the total on the
year to 6-2. Hopefully I can get my picks better this week after
missing the FFF upset over GS and guessing wrong by picking the
underdog HK to beat LR.

Predicted Standings after week 4
(including tie breakers (not shown))
LR 3-1
DDB 3-1
GS 3-1
G 2-2
FFF 2-2
DC 1-3
HK 1-3
AH 1-3

And for the injury pick of the week....look for Marshall Faulk or
 Fred Lane to go down.
