Week 1 Predictions
The No Brainer:
Look for the Little Rascals to kick the SH*T (brown stuff) out of Doo Doo Brown this weekend. Doo Doo made many questionable moves this week. (Some of them happened on draft day when he went with Faulk, Anderson, Conway & Morton early.) This week's really questionable move was playing the NO D. Look for the Little Rascals D to score 10 times as many points as the Doo Doo Brown D. That alone will be enough to get a win for Spanky and the gang.
Predicted Score: LR 92 DDB 69 (He DDB you can't be too upset you got Sixty Nine!)
The Half a Brainer:
The Keeper of the Lizard will be happier with this showing than he was with Godzilla the movie. (Was that in theatres for a full week?) Godzilla is rolling out a starting lineup that would make anyone scared. (Including Faris Beuler) The big question for Godzilla going into the season is: Does he have enough depth to handle the yearly Robert Smith injury and the weekly Terry Glenn injuries? Fletch F. Fletch will have a hard time this week because his team is going to have a good outing. He is just matched up with the wrong Lizard at the wrong time. Look for Fletch to be complaining about his bad luck after week 1.

Pick 'em:
Week 1 sports a great in house rivalry as the Aces in the Hole take on Delta Chuffers. This rivalry has become bitter over the years as the Chuffers have never won on opening day. During the draft the Delta Chuffers owner was heard saying, "What a moron!" after many of the Aces' picks. Look for this to be brought up in the Aces' locker room before the game as a tool to fire up the players. Both teams have some question marks in their starting lineups. AH is going with 2 TB offensive players. (Which has never been seen before and probably never should be seen again!) DC is going with Levens who has been to 3 practices and will only play 60% of the game. Well I say that Levens has had enough practice to outscore Alstott and Emanuel combined. I say give the edge to Delta Chuffers this week folks. Look for the Delta Chuffers owner to be drinking many White Russians on Monday night as he will be heading into the game with a 50 point lead.

Upset pick of the week:
Our final contest is between Dave's Team II (sorry I mean the Hippie Kicker's) and Golden Shower. Well as we all know Golden Shower is undefeated in opening day while the Hippie Kicker's are known as fresh meat around the league. The Hippie Kicker's made some bold (and I think very good moves) with their lineup this week. They include playing Warren Moon (over Jeff George) and playing a banged up Andre Rison (who would shred the Raiders D with no legs). These 2 moves will prove brilliant as they will raise the teams score this week considerably! Historically Golden Shower has barely scored enough points to win in week one. In fact last year he would have lost to any other team in the league. That being said here is the upset pick of the week: Golden Shower will not double the score of the Hippie Kicker's! Look for the Shower to still win by 30. Who would pick against Ricky Watters in Phi on opening day. This guy will have 100 yards by halftime. Even Napoleon "All or nothing" Kaufman can't stop the shower in week 1. Look for the Shower to be kicking ass and taking names this week as he wins the Bonus.
