LFFL League Rules

Here is a detailed description of the league rules used by Rozelle. They describe the team size, scoring procedures and weekly match-ups.

Roster Size:

There will be 8 different teams in the league.
Each team will be comprised of 18 players. Every team must have at all times:
2 quarterbacks
2 kickers
2 defenses
3 running backs
4 receivers / tight ends
5 players from any of the above categories

Weekly Lineups:

Each week the team owner must submit a lineup by Thursday at Midnight Pacific Time. If there is a Thursday game that week the lineup is due by Wednesday at Midnight Pacific Time. Failure to submit a lineup will result in the playing of the previous week’s lineup. Each lineup will consist of the following:

1 quarterback
1 kicker
1 defense
2 running backs
3 receivers
1 floater (running back or receiver)

Scoring:
Here is how each player scores points in this fantasy football league:

Offense:
1 point for every 10 yards rushing
1 point for every 10 yards receiving
1 point for every 20 yards passing
6 points for a rushing touchdown
6 points for a receiving touchdown
4 points for a touchdown throw
2 points for a rushing two-point conversion
2 points for a receiving two-point conversion
1 points for a two-point conversion throw
-1 for a throwing an interception

Kicking:
1 point for a PAT
2 points for a field goal distance < 45 yards
3 points for a field goal distance >= 45 yards

Defense:
1 point for a sack
2 points for a turnover (interception or fumble recovery)
2 points for a safety
4 points for a defensive touchdown
6 points for a special teams touchdown (kick-off return or punt return)

Note: No player can score negative points so a score of –2 will be recorded as a 0.

Tokens and Bonuses:
It costs ~40 to join the league. (~ means tokens) The pay out at the end of the year is as follows:
1st ~100
2nd ~70
3rd ~40
4th ~40
~5 Bonus for the overall high score for each week.

League Rankings:
The Rankings for the league are based on wins and losses of each week’s match ups. The Tie Breakers are as follows:

  1. Head to Head Match up
  2. Highest Overall Total Points
  3. Most Bonuses
  4. Coin Flip
Trades and Transactions:
Each Team can make one Transaction(Dropping of a player to acquire a player off the waiver wire) and one Trade (moving of player(s) to other team(s) for an equal amount of player(s)) per week. When a team can make a Transaction is determined by their ranking in the league as follows:

Transaction Start Times:
Tuesday 2PM 7th and 8th
Tuesday 8PM 3rd - 6th that lost that week
Wednesday 10AM 3rd - 6th that won that week
Wednesday 2PM 1st and 2nd

Please Note:

Trade Deadline:
There will be No trades allowed following week 10 of the fantasy season. All trades must be completed before the transaction/trade deadline for week 10.
