Deacon's move the "crucifix slam" is a power slam where
the opponent is
falling stomach first with their body crisscrossing Deacons.
Deacon's move the "Dominator" is the same finisher that
Farooq of WWF
fame
uses.
Deacon's finisher is the "ALTAR CALL" and is when he
places the opponent
on
the top rope facing out towards the crowd and proceeds to climb
the
middle
rope, grab the opponent by their outstretched arms, as if they've
been
spread in a crucific position, and falling with them to the mat -
a
devestating move. (think super Razor's edge)
Deacon enters the ring with a slow and methodical walk
accompanied by an
eerie monk chant in the background. He wears a monk's robe
to the ring,
and then takes it off and wrestles in a priest outfit with the
arms tore
out. He sends a presence of awesome eeriness on his
entrances seeking to
psych out his opponents. He will tend to enter the arena
during a future
opponents match and stand there with his hand outstretched (a
good way to
introduce him to Thantos except let Thantos see his face and
watch the
gamemasters eyes bug out). The psych out feature allows
Deacon to take a
+2 on initial move dice rolls.
The person currently called Deacon grew up in a monastery on
Earth. He
never knew of parents or any relatives. As he grew, he
really grew, to
near the size of the mighty Massif. He was quite atheletic,
but reserved
as is common in people without a "normal"
history. When he reached late
adolescence, he left the monastery for a day of fun. The
event for fun
decided on by his friends was a GWF wrestling match. Deacon
was amazed
at
the wrestlers atheletic ability, but not nearly as amazed as when
the
main
event happened. Thantos vs. Star Warrior for the GWF
gold. When Thantos
turned around toward Deacon and his friends seats, they were all
amazed
at
how much Deacon resembled the mighty gladiator. Deacon went
back to the
monastery to ask question, but the monks said only that his
mother
dropped
him off at the monastery for his eventual protection from some
evil.
Deacon decided that the only way to get the truth was to comfront
his
"father". However, Thantos was characteristicly
unresponsive. Deacon
then
left the monastery to train to be a wrestler. During his
travels, he
trained on the planet Titan with the group of the same name, but
declined
to join them to continue his own crusade. As he contacted
with other
wrestlers, he learned the skills and became convinced by them
that he was
Thantos' child. He is entering the GWF to prove to his
"father" that it
is
true, but more importantly, to reach out to Thantos and redeem
his soul
before it is too late.

2.Promoter Articles
A. WOLF (Warren Fitzpatrick)
Do you ever wonder what makes a character popular?
Why is Pegasus so
beloved? Why does one prefer Spike so much as to create a
web site
dedicated to his control of said federation? Heck, Why does
anyone like
that stone-wielding, whining, overbearing, "I can't seem to
get anything
to
go my way", CHAOS? (or as I prefer to call him, "They
tried to make me
nigh
invulnerable superman and ended up creating the latest mort of
the
month!!!) Why does one like any one particular wrestler
than the other?
Well sit back and see my self-analytical study of why I love Wolf
(or
something like that!).
In my particular fed, Wolf has always been the man to beat.
Whether he
held the belt or not, he would create chaos (pun intended)
everywhere he
went. He was attacked by the original Gladiators and
subsequently
injured
during a tournament for the GWF belt. In that tournament,
he made it all
the way to the three man finals. Wolf, Massif, and Star
Warrior battled
each other in subsequent matches until one could defeat the other
two in
consecutive matches. Star Warrior was injured and still won
the belt,
but
I don't like him (I can't stand him). So why do I like
Wolf?
Granted, Wolf is the one who caused the original Gladiators to
lose the
belts to the Galaxian Beauties, and then after clearing the ring
of
Aethran
backside, promptly went to work on the Beauts. Sure, he
injured every
Gladiator after they finally reclaimed their straps causing them
to take
a
vacation. Heck yeah, he has won the GWF title twice now as
him and Star
Warrior exchanged victories for a while. You bet he has
finally defeated
SW and won SW's rematch as well, giving him a free reign
now. But none
of
this explains why he's so flamin' cool, just tells us how tough
he can
be.
So why?
I think the answer lies in the American spirit itself (no this
isn't going
to bring in Comm. Sam although I think he's cool too). We
are by and
large, an independent people who seem to root for others just
like us.
Think of the recent evidences shown in "normal"
wrestling: Stone Cold is
cheered even though he is a fiend, people root for Diesel when he
is
attacking fan-favorites Bret Hart and the Undertaker. The
N.W.O. for
crying out loud has as many fans as anyone else. It all
comes down to
someone doing what they want when they wanna do it. Our
fascination with
the westerns of old show this. The desperadoes ride into
town, take the
bad guy out using the villains own tactics, and then strolls off
into the
sunset. Robin Hood saves the girl and leaves the sheriff
and his men
scratching their heads. That is Wolf, and Wolf is
America. He is the
ultimate in freedom (good, bad, and/or ugly). When Wolf
hits the ring,
anything can happen. His style mixes high intensity and
high speed in a
ferocious blend. He bounds off the ropes and will plant a
devastating
elbow to your jaw, and then turn around and latch that SAVAGE
FACE CLAW
to
your temple sending you to nighty-night land. Wolf does
everything we
always wanted to do to a playground bully and doesn't apologize
for any
of
it. That may be a lousy way to conduct life, but sure as
heck is fun to
watch him do. And isn't that the GWF's goal, to sit back
and watch a
world
way out there smash into our imagination and leave us breathless.
B. Special Rankings
I only received one article so I took upon myself to write yet
another article. Please send those articles in! Thank you.
My article is on Special Edition cards, above the year 1995 (when
they
were made), that of course, I have ordered. I have 8 and I will
rank
8-pass to 1-BUY!
#8. (1995)Commissioner Grogan-I guess that some people enjoy
having the
odds of the dice to decide thier matches, I don't. I don't use
him and I
think I bought him to go with Reynard the Commissioner (on his
card it
says "refer to Grogan").
#7. (1996)Dark Justice-I must admit that I bought him for the
name. His
4(1) pin will keep him alive for a while, but add three downs and
it is a
bad chance of getting off of level three defense. Besides, a roll
of 6 on
level 1 offense is "Into Ropes." I hate when they do
that. He started in
my fed., but is out now.
#6. (1997)Death's Head-I guess the picture threw me off, I
thought he
would be a pretty good wrestler. He is pretty standard which
won't cut it
in my fed. these days. The best part about him is his Funeral
March, that
comes on rolls of 5 and 6. But I think he is a good partner for
Draconian
Sheik, if you want to use him. I think they both look
"sadistic."
#5. (1996)Ram-If a stable has ever helped anyone out, it would be
The
Colonizers for Ram! His problems are his Ram Charge-a great
finiaher if
he hits it, but when he misses, he has to go on defense. His
defense is
pretty good, except for level three. two hurts just ain't gonna
cut it.
He had a belt in my fed., but lost it to Max Shield.
#4. (1996)Draconian Sheik-When I saw the picture, I knew I had to
have
him! And my hunches this time, were right. As long as the
Terrorists are
there, he has a normal level 1 offense. He has a move on level
two that
adds one to their pin rating! All of his defense is standard and
the 2 on
level three offense is the only thing hurting him for offense. He
currently holds the second best belt in my league. If you
need a
villain, he's your man!
#3. (1995)Alpha Force-This guys get's belts and holds them! I
bought him
because I needed another challenger for Chaos. Even after I took
Choas
out of my league, he is still going strong! His offense could be
a little
bit stronger, but he's got two good finishing moves. His defense
is
excellent. This is the first guy I've mentioned that has both
negatives
in agility and power!! A must buy in my eyes.
#2. (1995)Heracles-I had Colossus so when Heracles came out, my
order
form was in! His offense is standard and TWO Olympia's is pretty
good.
He's got a good pin rating and his defense is good. Early in my
fed., he
beat Max Shield for the best belt, then lost it to Buck
Steele/Genocide.
#1. (1996)Mayhem-Do I have to say why I bought him? A pin rating
of +4,
+5, or +6! When I got him, I was very impressed. Even though he
doesn't
have too many Mayhem-X's after his level 1 defense, he's got a
great
defense. Along with Leap of Doom (roll one die: 1,2,3
miss-opponent rolls
on level three offense, or +4, +5, +6), he's also got Danger Zone
(0)!
He's been on my title page for quite a while and leads a stable
called
Dark Empire that includes: Heracles, Prodigy, Mandrill, and
Vendetta!
*So there's my ranking. I think anyone above and including #5 is
a
well-worth-it deal. Anyone below, you should think about buying
before
you just plunge in like I did.

3. Fight Card of the Promoter
A. Tom Filsinger
Right now my CPC vs GWF is really hot! Here's the biggest
news in my fed
at the
moment:
HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: CHAOS. Chaos just had a great
feud against the
CPC's Terminus and held onto the big strap. Terminus had
won two
straight victories by
disqualification at Pelf Palace, but Chaos won the big third
rematch by
pinfall in
a Hydra Lumberjack Match. Chaos was pretty lucky, but he
pulled it off.
Next in
line for Chaos is Mayhem.
TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS: REBEL EMPIRE. These guys have
taken my fed by
storm! They've won two straight tag tournaments and are my
current
champions. They fought to a time limit draw with top
contenders the New
Order. The New Order are being granted a nontitle
match which they must
win in order to get another title shot.
INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION: DRACONIAN SHEIK. The Sheik
just defeated
Enigma to hold on to his belt. Next in line is
Talisman.
OTHER NEWS: Max Shield won a huge single tournament (I call
it my ONLY
THE BEST supercard) and its his biggest win yet in the my
fed. He
defeated Chaos in a nontitle tournament match and pinned Pegasus
to win
it all!
Skinhead won a Cruiserweight tournament on the same card by
defeating his
enemy
Prodigy. Skinhead has dominated Prodigy in every match
they've had so
far.
The Ninja Assassins have been my second hottest tag-team (after
Rebel
Empire) and
even won got TitanFury exiled from the fed for 5 fight
cards.
Wolf won the Heavy Metal part of my ONLY THE BEST tournament by
defeating
Buck Steele, who never became Genocide. Wolf defeated
Mayhem with ease
earlier in the tournament.
Check out my column at the website for specific results of my
fight
cards.
Joe says: "Thanks for the fight card Tom!"

5. New Matches!
A. New Ropes Chart (Warren Fitzpatrick)
Ropes Chart
A B C
*** 2 2-3 / The opponent catches
you with a pinning maneuver
(roll your pin)
2 3
4 / You hit the ropes and : 1.) opponents
ally
pulls top rope down sending you to the floor. 2.) opponent
clotheslines
you sending you both to the floor. (roll out of ring)
3 4-5 5-6 / Opponent
bounces off the opposite side ropes
and catches
you with a devastating move. Roll level 3 defense.
4-5 6 7 /
Opponent connects with a suitable move when you
bound
off the ropes (dropkick, back body drop, flying whatever,
etc.) Roll
level 2 defense.
6 7
8 / Reversal, leap frog, baseball slide under
your
legs, etc. You roll on Ropes chart.
7-8 8-9 9-10 / As you bound off the ropes, your
opponent goes
the opposite way to bound off the ropes. 1.) Your ally catches
your
opponent with a trip or hits him in the back 2.) The
opponent mistimes
his move allowing you to counter him. Roll level 2 offense.
9-10 10-11 11-12/ Opponent tries a big risk move, but it fails
terribly
allowing you to counter. Roll on level 3 offense.
11-12 12 *** / As you come to the ropes
you : 1.) catch the
ropes
pulling them down so that your opponent flies over them 2.)
slide under
the bottom or swing over the top rope, when the opponent gets
near, you
grab his leg and pull him out of the ring. If opponent has
a lower
rating,
they will roll out of ring chart, otherwise this character will.
Joe says: "It might look confusing at first, but it's just a
rope chart
that when your on defense, you want to roll high instead of
low."
B. Zero Gravity Elimination (Joe Jaczewski)
Sure, you can have a tag-team match up in Platform, but it's
still one
guy loses for the team. Here's the way to play Elimination! Get
two teams
of 2 or more wrestlers on each team. They can tag and do
maneuvers (not
outside the ring) as they can do in a normal match. If one
wrestler on a
team gets counted out, they can't get back in the ring. Their
ally comes
into the ring on level two offense. There is a way for their
opponent to
prevent this. They're opponent may tag (whether or not their
regular tag
partners) and then the match would be played like it was a new
one (they
both roll one die and whoever gets higher, starts on level 1
offense).

Only one person has tried to guess who the masked men were in the
first issue from the fight card. He guessed that the
"Hyper" one was
Genocide, but couldn't figure out who the "tall and skinny
one was." Well
I wasn't trying to create a big conspiracy, so I had Max Shield
join
Genocide for the attack. I figured that these two guys are
perfect for
the job and like working together anyway.
Here is the fight card. I hope everyone will have matches and
send them in. I will show the matches for the first round. Then I
will
show the results in promoter 4. Then you reply with the matches
for the
winners of the first round and you will see the results in
promoter 5.
The last match will be shown in promoter 6, with all the other
matches in
the "Fight card of the Promoter." Also, when you are
sending your
results, add on what happened (ex: injuries, sneak attacks,
etc.). The
last match will have a huge ending (like mine in promoter 1) and
I will
pick the best ending to publish! I hope you get involved! Here
are the
first round matches:
First Round
Mandrill vs. Max Shield } Winners will
Prodigy vs. Blade } fight in second
round
Vendetta vs. Buck Steele/Genocide } Winners
will
Soldier of Fortune vs. Dragonmaster } fight in second round
If you didn't buy the set with Max Shield or Buck
Steele/Genocide, e-mail
me and I will send their backs to you. If you didn't order CPC
2105,
order it now, or you're out of luck! These are not Titan Death
rules so
Sentry and other managers can accompany them to the ring.
Thanks go to Warren Fitzpatrick the most for submitting three
items for NG #3. He kept it going and hopefully you can chip in.
I am
trying to keep this newsletter alive until the next GWF Promoter.
Tom
Filsinger has told me that he will advertise it in there and I
hope more
people will join. Thank you all for your support!
Sincerely,
Joe Jaczewski

comes on rolls of 5 and 6. But I think he is a good partner for
Draconian
Sheik, if you want to use him. I think they both look
"sadistic."
#5. (1996)Ram-If a stable has ever helped anyone out, it would be
The
Colonizers for Ram! His problems are his Ram Charge-a great
finiaher if
he hits it, but when he misses, he has to go on defense. His
defense is
pretty good, except for level three. two hurts just ain't gonna
cut it.
He had a belt in my fed., but lost it to Max Shield.
#4. (1996)Draconian Sheik-When I saw the picture, I knew I had to
have
him! And my hunches this time, were right. As long as the
Terrorists are
there, he has a normal level 1 offense. He has a move on level
two that
adds one to their pin rating! All of his defense is standard and
the 2 on
level three offense is the only thing hurting him for offense. He
currently holds the second best belt in my league. If you
need a
villain, he's your man!
#3. (1995)Alpha Force-This guys get's belts and holds them! I
bought him
because I needed another challenger for Chaos. Even after I took
Choas
out of my league, he is still going strong! His offense could be
a little
bit stronger, but he's got two good finishing moves. His defense
is
excellent. This is the first guy I've mentioned that has both
negatives
in agility and power!! A must buy in my eyes.
#2. (1995)Heracles-I had Colossus so when Heracles came out, my
order
form was in! His offense is standard and TWO Olympia's is pretty
good.
He's got a good pin rating and his defense is good. Early in my
fed., he
beat Max Shield for the best belt, then lost it to Buck
Steele/Genocide.
#1. (1996)Mayhem-Do I have to say why I bought him? A pin rating
of +4,
+5, or +6! When I got him, I was very impressed. Even though he
doesn't
have too many Mayhem-X's after his level 1 defense, he's got a
great
defense. Along with Leap of Doom (roll one die: 1,2,3
miss-opponent rolls
on level three offense, or +4, +5, +6), he's also got Danger Zone
(0)!
He's been on my title page for quite a while and leads a stable
called
Dark Empire that includes: Heracles, Prodigy, Mandrill, and
Vendetta!
*So there's my ranking. I think anyone above and including #5 is
a
well-worth-it deal. Anyone below, you should think about buying
before
you just plunge in like I did.

3. Fight Card of the Promoter
A. Tom Filsinger
Right now my CPC vs GWF is really hot! Here's the biggest
news in my fed
at the
moment:
HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: CHAOS. Chaos just had a great
feud against the
CPC's Terminus and held onto the big strap. Terminus had
won two
straight victories by
disqualification at Pelf Palace, but Chaos won the big third
rematch by
pinfall in
a Hydra Lumberjack Match. Chaos was pretty lucky, but he
pulled it off.
Next in
line for Chaos is Mayhem.
TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS: REBEL EMPIRE. These guys have
taken my fed by
storm! They've won two straight tag tournaments and are my
current
champions. They fought to a time limit draw with top
contenders the New
Order. The New Order are being granted a nontitle
match which they must
win in order to get another title shot.
INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION: DRACONIAN SHEIK. The Sheik
just defeated
Enigma to hold on to his belt. Next in line is
Talisman.
OTHER NEWS: Max Shield won a huge single tournament (I call
it my ONLY
THE BEST supercard) and its his biggest win yet in the my
fed. He
defeated Chaos in a nontitle tournament match and pinned Pegasus
to win
it all!
Skinhead won a Cruiserweight tournament on the same card by
defeating his
enemy
Prodigy. Skinhead has dominated Prodigy in every match
they've had so
far.
The Ninja Assassins have been my second hottest tag-team (after
Rebel
Empire) and
even won got TitanFury exiled from the fed for 5 fight
cards.
Wolf won the Heavy Metal part of my ONLY THE BEST tournament by
defeating
Buck Steele, who never became Genocide. Wolf defeated
Mayhem with ease
earlier in the tournament.
Check out my column at the website for specific results of my
fight
cards.
Joe says: "Thanks for the fight card Tom!"

4. Promoter Spotlight is cancelled due to inactivity. It will be
brought
back if anyone sends one in, but I am not going to waste your
space
writing "Please send them in!" every issue. Everything
else worked out
great and I hope you enjoy the rest of this promoter.

5. New Matches!
A. New Ropes Chart (Warren Fitzpatrick)
Ropes Chart
A B C
*** 2 2-3 / The opponent catches
you with a pinning maneuver
(roll your pin)
2 3
4 / You hit the ropes and : 1.) opponents
ally
pulls top rope down sending you to the floor. 2.) opponent
clotheslines
you sending you both to the floor. (roll out of ring)
3 4-5 5-6 / Opponent
bounces off the opposite side ropes
and catches
you with a devastating move. Roll level 3 defense.
4-5 6 7 /
Opponent connects with a suitable move when you
bound
off the ropes (dropkick, back body drop, flying whatever,
etc.) Roll
level 2 defense.
6 7
8 / Reversal, leap frog, baseball slide under
your
legs, etc. You roll on Ropes chart.
7-8 8-9 9-10 / As you bound off the ropes, your
opponent goes
the opposite way to bound off the ropes. 1.) Your ally catches
your
opponent with a trip or hits him in the back 2.) The
opponent mistimes
his move allowing you to counter him. Roll level 2 offense.
9-10 10-11 11-12/ Opponent tries a big risk move, but it fails
terribly
allowing you to counter. Roll on level 3 offense.
11-12 12 *** / As you come to the ropes
you : 1.) catch the
ropes
pulling them down so that your opponent flies over them 2.)
slide under
the bottom or swing over the top rope, when the opponent gets
near, you
grab his leg and pull him out of the ring. If opponent has
a lower
rating,
they will roll out of ring chart, otherwise this character will.
Joe says: "It might look confusing at first, but it's just a
rope chart
that when your on defense, you want to roll high instead of
low."
B. Zero Gravity Elimination (Joe Jaczewski)
Sure, you can have a tag-team match up in Platform, but it's
still one
guy loses for the team. Here's the way to play Elimination! Get
two teams
of 2 or more wrestlers on each team. They can tag and do
maneuvers (not
outside the ring) as they can do in a normal match. If one
wrestler on a
team gets counted out, they can't get back in the ring. Their
ally comes
into the ring on level two offense. There is a way for their
opponent to
prevent this. They're opponent may tag (whether or not their
regular tag
partners) and then the match would be played like it was a new
one (they
both roll one die and whoever gets higher, starts on level 1
offense).

7. Closing Comments
Only one person has tried to guess who the masked men were in the
first issue from the fight card. He guessed that the
"Hyper" one was
Genocide, but couldn't figure out who the "tall and skinny
one was." Well
I wasn't trying to create a big conspiracy, so I had Max Shield
join
Genocide for the attack. I figured that these two guys are
perfect for
the job and like working together anyway.
Here is the fight card. I hope everyone will have matches and
send them in. I will show the matches for the first round. Then I
will
show the results in promoter 4. Then you reply with the matches
for the
winners of the first round and you will see the results in
promoter 5.
The last match will be shown in promoter 6, with all the other
matches in
the "Fight card of the Promoter." Also, when you are
sending your
results, add on what happened (ex: injuries, sneak attacks,
etc.). The
last match will have a huge ending (like mine in promoter 1) and
I will
pick the best ending to publish! I hope you get involved! Here
are the
first round matches:
First Round
Mandrill vs. Max Shield } Winners will
Prodigy vs. Blade } fight in second
round
Vendetta vs. Buck Steele/Genocide } Winners
will
Soldier of Fortune vs. Dragonmaster } fight in second round
If you didn't buy the set with Max Shield or Buck
Steele/Genocide, e-mail
me and I will send their backs to you. If you didn't order CPC
2105,
order it now, or you're out of luck! These are not Titan Death
rules so
Sentry and other managers can accompany them to the ring.
Thanks go to Warren Fitzpatrick the most for submitting three
items for NG #3. He kept it going and hopefully you can chip in.
I am
trying to keep this newsletter alive until the next GWF Promoter.
Tom
Filsinger has told me that he will advertise it in there and I
hope more
people will join. Thank you all for your support!
Sincerely,
Joe Jaczewski
