Issue #19-August 1, 1998

That's right!  Not only have we taken over the GWF Promoter (now
CPC Report!), but we've also taken over the faithful Joe Jaczewski's
magazine!  YEA!  We just walked into his office and said, "Now it's
CPC's Next Generation!"  It was like taking candy from a baby.  Oh,
sure, Joe cried and whined, but what could he do?  He was no challenge
for our take over!  CPC 4 life!

SPECIAL RULES :
The Turk is a master of knowing exactly what to do and when to do it.
This is the advantage of being a crafty old ring veteran.  To represent
this, many of his attacks are two-fold.  The attack to the left of the
slash is his normal attack.  If he wants to attempt to execute the move
to the right of the slash, he may roll a die.  He may use the secondary
move if he rolls a 3-6.  If he fails, the opponent takes to the attack
at L1 Offense.

Also, he has a rather chaotic and unpredictable finisher (Berserker
Fury).  This is where he just starts wailing unmercifully on the
opponent in a wild rage!  When he gets this, roll a die;
1 :  The opponent manages to turn it over to his attack at L1
Offense.
    2-3 : Berserker Fury (+1)
    4-5 : Berserker Fury (+2)
6 :  Berserker Fury (+3)--opponent's pin Number is increased by 2 if
he gets up.

INFORMATION :
The Turk was once a varitable strong man of the sport, but has since
aged alot, decreasing his power.  Now, he's a cagey veteran, who is
possibly the most resourceful grappler to ever step foot in the ring.
He always sizes his opponents up and attacks them accordingly.
Unfortunately, he spent most of his career in little independent feds
with hardly any fan-fare.  Only recently has he decided to step into the
limelight.
Turk is a tall man (6'8") and still weighs a decent amount (290lbs), but
he has lost much of his definition with age.  He wears a huge, drooping
mustasche and always wears black spandex tights and a matching forearm
brace on his left arm (due to an injury from a particularly nasty match
about 20 years ago).  He has medium brown hair and green eyes.
* This is based on my house rules, which I send out for free if you want
them.  If not, simply ignore this stuff.

CPC Takeover by Qualitar (address withheld)

Well, let's see.  Where I start?  Let's start where Colby and Pelf
started.  First they got the necessary documents to form a
federation.  Hey, this is Colby and Pelf!  They aren't stupid!
Next up they recruited new wrestlers and got many, many wrestlers
to come from the GWF.  That was easy.  Hey, this is Colby and Pelf!
They are very persuasive (if you know what I mean)!
They made a couple belts like the GWF, but added new ones that
GWF could never, and probably never will make up!  The CPC
Women's Champ and Cruiserweight Champ.  GWF's belts have
been around so long you could call them chumps!  These new
belts have brought a new level of excitement.  Hey, this is Colby
and Pelf!  They know about ratings!
Along with all the great talent they've signed (Paragon, Matador
M83, Terminus, Velar the Great, etc.), they've also taken on of
the best as their VP-Reynard B. Guile!  Hey, this is Colby and
Pelf!  They know you can't go wrong with ol' Rey.
So what do you come up with when you add it all together?  A
federation that is mopping up the floors with the GWF.  I don't
see a long future for the GWF.  They don't even have a President,
let alone a VP!  Until Paragon holds both CPC Heavyweight and
GWF Champion (if it's still around)...
CPC 4 LIFE!

3. Promoter Spotlight
Ty States ([email protected])

I thought I'd give a short synopsis of the things going on in my fed.
Probably the hottest feud right now is Chaos & Heracles against the
Colonizers.
In recent matches: Chaos & Heracles beat Mandrill & Vendetta by D.Q.
Mandrill won a non-title match against I-P champ Heracles
Painmaster also beat Heracles in a non-title match
Heracles successfully defended the I-P title against Mandrill with Massif

as guest referee.
Chaos, Heracles & Bishop Hell beat Mandrill, Vendetta & Painmaster in a
six-man elimination match.
Greg Valentine and Mike Fortune have made their GWF debut, after signing
a contract to wrestle at Galacticon 9. Valentine is undefeated with wins
over Brainstorm, Hammer, Monad, Dynamo by count out and Prodigy. Fortune
has beaten Defender of the Realm and Ursa Major. Fortune has lost by D.Q.

to Bullwhip and Blizzard, and was pinned by Kati.
The card for SuperBrawl IV has just been finalized. Big matches include:
Vengeance, Spike and Malice against Matador, Janus and Mayhem in an
elimination match
In the 4th of the Best of 7 Death Match series, Dark Justice (leads 3-0)
against the Draconian Sheik in a falls count anywhere match.
Wolf v. Terminus in a Total Anarchy match
Two cage main events- Pegasus puts up the CPC title against Paragon and
the CPC cage title; then Chaos defends in the GWF title and the GWF cage
title against the CPC I-S champion Colossus.

4. Fight Card of the Promoter

CPC Summer Slam by Qualitar (address withheld)

Welcome everyone to CPC Summer Slam!  (cheers are heard from the crowd)
Thank you.  Let's get right into the action.  The rankings from CPC
Report #1 are fresh as we go into this card.
>Rising Sun tried to put Mad Jester away very quick.  You can't do that.
You have to wear a wrestler down!  Well, as you can guess, Mad Jester
took this match back and won it all.
>Thrash took on and beat Supernova to keep her #1 spot.
>Terminus accepted the challenge from Buck Steele for his Insterstellar
belt.  Well let's to the ring.  Terminus started off the match.  Look,
he is just pounding on the poor sap.  Man, it's too sad to watch.  I
LOVE it!  Oh, a couple offensive maneuvers and it's time for the pin.
1-2-Kick out-and what the hell?  Oh no!  Buck Steele is pissed, or
should I say Genocide is pissed!  He picks up Terminus and power
slams him!  Now Terminus is the small one getting beat on.  This
can't be happening.  Terminus accepted a match against BUCK STEELE.
Genocide is up on the turnbuckle... and... here he goes... he
landed!  Oh, no.  He landed the Corpus Genocide!  And the pin
1-2-3 DING DING DING!  I can't believe it.  This is an injustice.
How can those GWF officials let a maniac like that run around?
>Now we take you into the ring, which looks a lot bigger now that
there are two cruiserweights in there.  Prodigy is defending his belt
against Blade.  Prodigy came out showing off with little moves on
Blade and then looking to the crowd for appreciation.  But he shouldn't
have done that because Blade saw a weak spot and went on offense.
Only getting off a small attack, Prodigy turned it around and repeatedly
pounded Blade.  It took two straight Perfect Singles Finishers, but
Blade was defeated and Prodigy kept his belt.
>This was a much awaited event.  Matador of M83 vs. Wolf.  This is big
because they are both ranked in GWF Champion and  Heavy Metal Champ.
Matador of M83 is also ranked in Interplanetary.  Well, the match
started out with a powerful attack by M83.  But after a tough beating,
Wolf felt the blood boiling through his veins.  He came back with a
massive attack and did a Savage Face Claw.  Amazingly M83 kicked out.
Wolf went to through him into the ropes, but M83 turned it around.
Wolf flew into the ref!  By the time the ref got up 25 seconds later,
Wolf was knocked out and M83 was covering him.  1-2-3-DING DING DING!
>Ah, the main event.  Planned for a double belt-losers' belt is
destroyed.  Between CPC Champion Paragon and PWF Champion Colossus.
It was even match in the beginning.  Both wrestlers got off offensive
moves, but the others defense pulled them back.  Then Colossus felt a
rage in that cold, cold mechanic body.  He started attacking Paragon
and before you know it, he did a FINAL OVERTURE successfully!  The
first pin attempt of the night and 1-2-KICK OUT!  OUT OF A FINAL
OVERTURE.  Paragon doesn't seemed phased at all!  He is turning
around and attacking Colossus unmercifully!  Here is the set up...
FINAL OVERTURE on Colossus!  Oh, he felt that one!  And the pin...
1-2-3!  It's over!  There is no more PWF Champion Belt!  Paragon
is awarded with his prestige CPC Champion belt and now, they are
destroying the lowly PWF belt.  Colossus is trying to stop them,
but to no use.  After a Final Overture, you usually don't have
much left.  Let's go talk to Paragon.
Q: How did you get up from that Final Overture so easily?
P: I knew Colossus was famous for using your moves against you
so I was prepared.  I know my move and what to do to lessen the
impact.  I let Colossus go for the pin so I could get him by
surprise.
Q: Well, no more PWF belt.  And the undefeatable was defeated!
P: By yours truly.  Don't mess with the CPC!
