HELL IN THE CELL (BY DAN SCHWENT)
This match originated in the late 20th century as an upgraded
version of
the cage match. A large cage is lowered around the ring
area, enclosing
it, complete with top. Here are the rules.
1. Cage rating is used
2. The winning wrestler either pins the opponent, or
pummels him until his
Cage rating reaches twelve, when he is then stretchered out of
the cage.
3. The losing wrestler is injured for 1-6 cards.
New charts are used. They are the HITC Hurt Referee Chart,
On Top of the
Cage Chart, and HITC Out of the Ring Chart:

2-4 - The referee is unconscious. The match continues for 7
offensive
moves until the wrestlers make their way out of the cage when the
referee
is being removed. The wrestle on defense climbs to the top
of the cage,
with the wrestle on offense hot on his heels! Roll on the
On Top of the
Cage Chart! At this point, the referee regains
consciousness.
5 - The referee is unconscious. The match continues for
three offensive
moves, until the downed referee is replaced by Massif.
Continue the match
normally.
6 - The referee is unconscious. The match continues for
three offensive
moves, until the downed referee is replaced by Scourge.
Continue the match
normally.
7 - The referee is unconscious. The match continues for ten
offensive
moves, until an enemy of the wrestler on offense enters the cage
after
cutting a hole in the side with wire clippers. The enemy
attacks the
wrestler on offense from behind with a chair, and then uses his
finisher on
him. The referee regains consciousness. Wrestler on
offense rolls his
Pin, plus his enemys finisher rating.
8-10 - As the referee is being stretchered away from the
ring area, the
battling wrestlers spill out of the cell into the
entranceway. Roll 1 die.
Odd roll, the wrestles are surrounded by security and forced back
into the
ring. Even Roll, the wrestlers end up on top of the
cage. Roll on On Top
of the Cage chart. At this point, the referee regains
consciousness.
11-12 - The referee recovers almost immediately. Continue
the match
normally, with the wrestler on offense rolling on level 3
offense.
Hell in the Cell On Top of the Cage Chart:
2-3 - The wrestler on defense reaches the top of the cell
first. He
bombards his opponent with punches before executing one of his
favorite
moves, sending his opponent off of the cell, and through an
announce table,
increasing his Cage rating by 1. The wrestler on offense
climbs down and
security forces both wrestlers back into the ring. Roll on
level 3
offense.
4-5 - The wrestler on defense makes a comeback and powerbombs his
opponent
onto a weak section of the cell roof. The section gives
way, and the
wrestler plummets back into the ring, adding one to his pin
rating. Roll
on level 3 offense.
6- After several minutes of furious brawling, both men scale the
side of
the cage and reenter the ring. Roll on level 3 offense.
7- Both wrestlers are slugging it out on the corner of the
cell. One grabs
the other, and the two are battling to execute a suplex.
Roll one die.
Odd: The wrestler on defense executes the suplex, sending his
opponent
through an announce table. Even: The wrestler on offense
executes the
suplex, sending his opponent through an announce table.
Both wrestlers are
forced back into the ring by security. Roll on level 3
offense.
8- After several minutes of dangerous and exciting maneuvers, the
wrestler
on defense makes a comeback, and both wrestlers climb back down
the cage
and reenter the ring. Roll on Level 3 offense.
9-10 - The wrestler on offense gives his opponent a
suplex. Upon landing,
a section of the cell collapses, sending the wrestler on defense
falling
back down into the ring, adding one to his cage rating. The
wrestler on
offense climbs down into the ring, and rolls on level 3 offense.
11-12 - The wrestler on offense clotheslines his opponent,
sending him
tumbling off of the cell and through an announce table, adding 1
to his
Cage rating. The wrestler on offense climbs down, and
security forces both
men back into the cell. The wrestler on offense rolls on
Level 3 offense.
Hell in the Cell out of the Ring chart:
2-4 A, 2-3 B, 2 C: You drag your opponent out of the ring,
Irish whip him
into the cage, and then slam him head first into the post before
throwing
him back into the ring. Roll on Level 3 offense.
5A, 4B, 3C: The opponent comes out of the ring to finish
you off and a
bloodbath ensues. The wrestler with the better Ring rating
wins the brawl.
If the ring ratings are the same, roll one die. Odd roll:
You slam your
opponent with a chair and roll him into the ring. Roll on
Level 3 offense.
Even Roll: Your opponent suplexes you onto the steps before
rolling you
back into the ring. Opponent rolls on level 3 offense.
6A, 5B, 4C: The opponent comes out of the ring, but you
grab him and drop
him neck first across the steel guard rail. You throw him
back into the
ring and go in for the kill. Roll on level 3 offense.
7A, 6B, 5C: The opponent comes out of the ring, and lifts
the steel steps
to slam you with. You try to block the move. Roll one
die. Even roll:
You slam the steel steps across you opponents head and
back. You throw
him back into the ring and take over on level 3 offense.
Odd roll: Your
opponent slams the steels steps into your chest and face.
He throws you
back into the ring and takes over on level 3 offense.
8-9A, 7-8B, 6-7C: Your opponent comes out after you and
proceeds to slam
you against the cage, ring posts, floor, steps, and guard rails
before
throwing you back into the ring. Opponent rolls on level 3
offense.
10A, 9B, 8C: Your opponent comes out of the ring and
piledrives you onto
the steel steps, increasing your PIN rating by 1. You
manage to ooze your
way back into the ring where he resumes the torture.
Opponent rolls on
level 3 offense.
11-12A, 10-12B, 9-12C: Your opponent looks as if he is
going to Irish whip
you into the post, but he unexpectedly spins around, slamming you
into the
cage instead, smashing the referee in between you and the
cage. Roll on
the Hell in the Cell Referee Chart.
