Banter and Weekly Summaries

Rob: Week 3 Summary
After spending the day in mourning, I've composed myself enough to write the week 3 summary. Chris
has been kind enough to include a public safety advisory on behalf of the Durham Bullies.

The 0-2 Bullies faced the 0-2 Wolverines in what should have been a stink fest. I held up my end of
the deal, but not so with Chris who may have tied the all time high score (and, if not, got very close).
The Bullies' 128-59 attack on my team left too much damage for even the Wolverines' mutant healing power.
The 'rines will be soliciting offers for such greats as Marvin Harrison and Derrick Mason now.

Not to be left out of the blow-out fest, Fasy's Bears disarmed the Top Gun 96-37. Fasy is now 3-0 and
averaging just under 90 points a game. Woah. Appropriately, the only team keeping up with the Bears
record is the Bear Slayers who went to 3-0 with a modest win over the Benjamins 64-42.

Finally, the Tadows! came up just short for the third week now, losing to Ken's Runners-Up 71-61.

Now you leaders shouldn't rush of to the furniture warehouse to pick out your playoff seat yet.
There's plenty of games left to be played.

And now a PSA from the Durham Bullies:
---------------------------------------

128 points.

Get out of the way, the Bullies are destroying everyone that stands in the way. I encourage you to
take your pee-wees to another location the week I play you to avoid injury.

Please email this to the others because it is important for everyone to get this public safety
announcement.

Rob: Week 4 Summary
If last year was the year of parity, this is the year
of disparity. In the NFL, Buffalo, Miami, San Fran,
and 2002 champions Tampa Bay are all winless. In the
OG League, the Tadows! and 2002 champions Wolverines
are also winless. In the NFL, Philadelphia and last
year's bottom dwellers Atlanta are 4 and 0. In the OG
League, last year's bottom dwellers the Fasy Bears are
4 and 0.

Following the trend, this week was another week of
beatdowns. Even the lowly Benjamins managed a 13
point win over the Tadows! (50-37).

The Guns beat the Wolverines by 22 (60-38).

The Bullies picked on the Slayers by 27 (63-36).

The undefeated Bears took down the defending champs
Runners-Up by 27 (72-45).

--------------------------------------------------

Trade News: The Wolverines trade Marvin Harrison to
the Top Guns for their 2nd and 5th of 2005.

Ken:
That trade doesn't scare the runners up. FAsy, nice win- but the real
spanking will come by my hands (and your @ss) during the playoffs. I may
slide in with an unimpressive #4 seed, but it is going to be that much
sweeter when I chop down the so-called big dog in the first round.

I'll be back,
-Ken

Ken:
Sadly, I looked to pick up Ricky Williams yesterday, only to see that
he was still on a roster... maybe our rosters are too large when we can
hold on to loooooosers without difficulty.

-Ken

Fasy:
Ed who?  YOU better rent some players for this week.  Rob and Ben are having a sale, everything for a DOLLAR.

Ben here is my address to send the  $5:
                   Fasy Bears
                   5 Beat Down Avenue
                   Winnerville, Pa 55555

Chris:
Rob/Ben -

I think you missed your exit - if you keep going in
your current direction, you'll end up in Loserville.
When you get there, look up Becca, I hear she's moved
Ed's old franchise there.

4 weeks in and you're selling out. Awesome. Just for
that, I'm going to have Tiki go freaky when it's your
week in the barrel.

-Bullies.

Fasy:
Tiki is going Freaky!!!!!!

That's a great song!!  I like it!

Ken:
While you two are out getting freaky with each other, the Runner Ups are
going to pick up some wins.

Just don't take pictues of the freak,
-Ken

Fasy:

Let me suggest you playing ED, Ben, and ROB  -   there you go 3-0  Picks of the YEAR!!!

Famy:
"Playoffs..." Jim Mora Sr.

That's what Rob has been saying all year. He's just looking for a win, any
wins. Ken, you should be doing the same and not worrying about the playoffs.

Just remember all roads to the championship go through the Top Guns!!!

Ken:
The brotherhood cup is in my possession and only I will say when it is
time to start talking about keeping it in NYC. Knuckleheads, beware. I
cannot remember a season that the Runners up did not make the playoffs.
This year will be no different. Chris, go get freaky with Fasy- it may
be the most fantasy fun you have all year.

Here is my last salvo: All those named - the NYC roughnecks have
you in their sites. No mercy.

-Ken

Rob:
--- Ken wrote:

> I cannot remember a season that the Runners up did

That would way back in '99 when you came in 5th and
'98 when you came in last.

But be wary of your long run of success. There is no
season in history that the Wolverines were not in the
playoffs. And alas, all these years of low draft
picks have taken their toll.

Still, you all better talk your trash now because it
won't take the Wolverines more than one season to
rebuild and start a new reign of terror. It's only a
matter of time until your nightmares are filled with
one sound ... SNIKT.

- Rob

Ken:
Don't bring the '90s into this discussion of Greevies getting freaky
while getting dominated.

-Ken

Rob: Week 5 Summary
It's no shock to anyone that the Wolverines were
involved in yet another blowout, but surprise,
surprise, it was the 'rines doing the blowing out as
they extinguished the Runners-up 79-37.

The Bullies continue to enjoy the cuddly warmth of
Tiki Bear as Barber's 15 combined with Bulger's 4th
quarter heroics to give the Bullies a dominating 83-60
win over the Benjamins.

The lowest scoring bout was also the most exciting as
the Bear Slayers unloaded the Guns to the tune of
56-49. With the assault rifle that is Priest Holmes
replaced by the cap guns that are DeShaun Foster and
Jonathan Wells, Famy put up zero points at RB.

Finally, in the battle of perfect records, the Fasy
Bears spell perfection "76-43" over the Tadows!. Ed,
afraid that Ben or I might steal last place this year
secured his loss with Chad Johnson, LJ Smith, and
Philadelphia - all on bye. His plan almost backfired
as he still outscored Fasy on defense (Philly 0, Jags
-1).

Chris:
Fasy -

Enjoy you're perfect season. I'm waiting for week 9. I
konw you see it on the schedule. We both know you're
runs over very soon. Enjoy for now, becuase I won't
leave any skin on the Bears this time.

-C

Rob: Week 6 Summary
This was a just week in that the top four scoring
teams all won. However, it began with a poor display
of sportsmanship by the Bears.

Fasy's Bears ran up the score on the Wolverines 92 -
56, leaving everyone to ask, "Was that really
necessary?" Not only did the Bears blow out the
'rines, they blew out every team in our league. The
next highest score was 23 points away.

I tip my hat to Culpepper and I expect him to be great
all season, but he has to start slowing down. He's on
pace to throw for 57 touchdowns, and no one throws for
57 touchdowns.

The Benjamins evened their record with the Guns by
beating them 69 to 43. They're tied for 4th with 3-3
records.

The Bullies picked on the Tadows! with a 64-37 wedgie.
Durham is in third with a 4-2 record. The Tadows!
maintain their perfect record of 0-6.

The Bears Slayers stay but one game behind the Bears
by beating the Runners 58-26. It's worth noting the
Tadows! left Manning and Reggie Wayne (both on bye) in
their lineup and still outscored the Runners. Even
with the Eagles going undefeated and scoring 30
points, Donovan McNabb scored a measly 4 fantasy
points for Ken.

While Culpepper and the Bears, and Martin the Slayers
seem good bets to make the playoffs, the other two
seats are still wide open with lots of football left
to play. It's the next eight weeks that makes
champions.

-RA

Fasy:
I'm sorry  'rines that you are crying from the beat down,  I just don't want to be like
the Seattle Seahawk when they lost to the Rams.

I believe that when your opponent is down, WE, the Bears, will kick them even harder.

You're just a small rock that we ran over.  Don't worry, you're NOT ALONE.
Everyone else is feeling it too.

Ben, it's too late, No more discount for you.

NOTE to EVERYONE:

"Don't hate the playa, Hate the game"

Consider it a LOST, if you CAN'T score over 70 POINTS against Da' Bears!!!!!

Rob: Week 7 - week of the underdogs
In three of four games, this was the week for
underdogs.

In the NFL the Dolphins broke into the winning column
by pounding the Rams. In the OG League the Tadows!
break into the winning column by pounding the
Wolverines. Chris Chambers' 128 yards and a TD helped
both the 'phins and the 'dows! off the snide. Adding
to Chambers' 12 points were Manning's 19 and Ahman
Green's 20 resulting in an 81-53 win for Ed. Ed was
the second highest score of the week.

The fifth highest score surprisingly went to the
Bears. The Fasy Bears opened the door for the Bear
Slayers by scoring their lowest total of the season, a
mere 65 points. The Slayers saw the open door ... and
didn't even make it to the porch. They tripped over
the curb and knocked themselves out on the mailbox.
They put up a pitiful 20 points. Wade's receivers
Moss, Ferguson, and Kevin Johnson combined for a
perfect goose-egg. Going into Monday night, Fasy's
kicker had scored as much as Wade's whole team. Well,
if you're gonna lose, might as well lose big. The win
by the Bears puts Fasy in a two game lead over Wade
who holds on to second place.

The West Side Runners tie up their ranking with the
Benjamins in a one-sided affray. McNabbs' 24 points
lead the way to the 79-45 win. Their 3-4 records are
4 games behind Fasy, but only 1 game behind Chris and
Famy who are tied for third.

If you want to know how the Atlanta Falcons are
feeling, just as ask the Durham Bullies. Priest
Holmes' four touchdown game had the Top Guns telling
the Bullies to go pick on someone their own size ...
someone down in the double digits. Famy's 107 to 67
victory put him and Chris in a tie for third.

So, Famy and Chris are tied for third with 4-3
records. Ben and Ken are close behind with 3-3
records. I'm tied with Ed for last with a 1-5 record.
 Well ... crap.

Rob: Trades, Picks, Dues Update
Fasy continues to be the mover and shaker this season.
He trades Dillion, Horn, and his 6th rounder to Wade
for Shawn Alexander.

I must say it's really fun that our league has been
stable for so long that we can feel good about picks
flying all over. I think I'll have to make a draft
board for next season to keep track of who's drafting
when. That'll be enjoyable too. (Given my current
record, I have to find fun where I can.)

2005 Picks Update:
Fasy gets Ben's 3rd.
Famy gets Fasy's 2nd.
Rob gets Famy's 2nd.
Wade gets Fasy's 6th.

Bets: Ben & Fasy - $5 on regular season standings.

Dues 2002-2004 Owed/Won:
Ken +55
Rob -35
Famy -20
Chris -40
Ed -60
Ben 0
Wade -40
Fasy -20
-------------
Total -20*8 = -160

Fasy:
Thanks Ken.

As to beating me, I dont' remember you or anybody beating me.  But it would be a
pleasure to treat you like the way I treated Wade last week. You should talk to him about it.

Ben, are you numbed yet?  after the pounding i'm giving you.
You guys are not alone, Rob, Ed, Famy, Chris all felt it

8 and 0, Ladies -  Who will step up?

I believe I just clinched Playoff berth!!!

NOTE:  The key to beating Fasy Bears -
YOU MUST score over 70 POINTS!!!
Can any of you do that?

Chris:
Fasy,

You talk big, but you see a bully sitting here waiting
for you to beef up your chest and start pounding only
to realize the Bullies aren't to be messed with.

Like the Steelers last night, I'm not too excited over
beating the Patriots in the regular season. Next time,
its for blood. I'll see you in the Superbowl, then
we'll find out if you're teams got the goods.

PS. Ken, stay out of the way. there are only 2 good
teams this year and you aint it. Get some pom-poms,
pick a side and start a cheer.

-Bullies in '04.

Ken:
I am still planning on being the #4 seed and picking of the Bears in the
first round.

By the way, all my players are now for sale. Inquire within.

-Ken

Rob: Week 8 Summary
Wolverines @ Bear Slayers
------------------------------------------------
A surprise win for the Wolverines this week as they
beat the Slayers 63-46. Another ornamental start by
Moss and another mediocre game by Hasselbeck hurt the
Slayers. Strong games by Trent Green and Chris Brown
guided the 'rines to the winner's circle.

The Benjamins @ Fasy Bears
------------------------------------------------
This had to be the week for the Bears to go down.
Culpepper has an awful night. Tommy Jones sprains his
ankle stepping onto the field. Miami's D puts up
negative points. Corey Dillon is a surprise no show.
... Wait - what's that? Fasy traded for Sean
Alexander who put up 21 points and carried his team to
victory?!

If the Fasy Bears were on sports center, this week's
game would be the first 10 minutes. However, the
story is dampened a bit by the fact that the Benjamins
were so bad that, even if Fasy had started Dillon, he
would still have won by a point. The Bears won 59-37
to continue their unbeaten streak.

Durham Bullies @ West Side Runners-Up
------------------------------------------------
In the battle of primo TEs, the Bullies noogied the
Runners 79-49. Antonio Gates' 15 for Ken was only
slightly outdone by Gonzo's 18 for Chris. The real
battle would be in the backfield. On draft day, think
of how you would have rated Portis and Barlow vs.
James and Barber. No contest, right? Well, it was no
contest! Tiki Bear blew away all three of them
combined with his 17 points to James' 5, Portis' 3,
and Barlow's 2. Tiki sits right behind Holmes and
Alexander for the most FPts for RBs so far this
season.

Top Gun @ Tadows! ***GAME OF THE WEEK***
------------------------------------------------
Flash back to week 1. The Guns eek out a victory over
the 'dows 74-72 because Ed forgets to bench the
injured Boldin. Well, Ed was not having any of that
this week! His line-up was set, and he was ready to
roll.

So came the showdown. INDY vs. KC. Holmes for the
Guns vs. Manning for the 'dows. Harrison for the Guns
vs., well, Reggie Wayne for 'dows. The town's folk
are clearing the street for the shootout. The
gunslingers unsnap their holsters, set their fingers
on the ivory handles, and ... Draw!

Manning to Harrison - slight advantage Guns
Holmes up the middle - advantage Guns
Manning to Pollard - advantage Tadows
Holmes in from right - advantage Guns
Manning to Harrison - slight advantage Guns
Manning to Wayne - big advantage Tadows
Holmes in from the left - advantage Guns
Manning to Wayne - big advantage Tadows

... The dust settles and it's a ... draw???

Harrison(17) and Holmes(29) combined for a monstrous
46 Fpts.
Manning(29) and Wayne(17) combined for ... 46 Fpts.

In the offensive showdown of the week, the difference
turned out to be in the defensive showdown of the
week, Baltimore @ Philadelphia. The Ravens put up 2
pts for the Guns, while the Eagles got 6 for the
'dows. The Tadows! win 88-85.

Chris:
Ed's scored more points than half the
league....LOSERS!

I hope Ed gets a playoffs spot.

Famy:
If frickin Wayne Chrebet wouldn't have dropped Chad Pennington's TD pass
last night, I would've won. I can't believe I lost.

Ed:
Believe it.

Chris:
Rob,

Schedule some time tomorrow morning to write a summary
or Week 9.

Let me help.

FASY FLAMES OUT.
FASY COMES UP SHORT.
BULLIES MAKE LITTLE KIDS PAY.
BULLIES COLLECT ANOTHER WIN.
BULLIES PUSH AROUND WEAKER TEAM AGAIN.
NATURAL ORDER RESTORED: BULLIES ON TOP.

I can't wait for the headlines tomorrow. Get me on
that distribution list twice.

Fasy:
Chris,

I liked that ONE.  That's pretty good.

       I believe it's 1-1.

Fasy:

Who's still #1?

                 Da' Bears!!!!

Rob: Week 9 Summary
Fasy Bears(8-0) vs. Durham Bullies(5-3)
---------------------------------------------------------
This week in what could easily be a preview of the NFL
superbowl, the Eagles faced the Steelers. In what
could easily be a preview of the OG superbowl, the
Fasy Bears faced the Durham Bullies.

The atmosphere was perfect. The only unbeated team in
the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles, were facing those
giant slaying Pittsburgh Steelers who ended the Pats
21 game winning streak the week before.

The receiving corps of the Fasy Bears was headed by
the high flying Eagle Terrell Owens.

The receiving corps of the Durham Bullies was 2/3rds
Steelers with Hines Ward and Plaxico Burress.

The game started fast. Hines Ward rushed for a 16
yard touchdown. McNabb over throws Owens. McNabb
misses Ownes. McNabb throws slightly behind Owens
setting him up for the big hit. As big Ben
Roethlisberger hits Ward for his second TD in the
first quarter, Owens is seen yelling at McNabb on the
sidelines. "Don't you know the Fasy Bears need me to
score this week! The Bears' unbeaten streak in on the
line, man!" Owens finished with 2 fpts, while
Ward/Burress finished with 16.

And the Steelers play Jack and chop down another
beanstock! The Eagles get trounced by the Steelers 27
to 3. The Fasy Bears get pants by the Bullies 80-58.
The Miami Dolphins are popping champagne. There will
be no undefeated teams this year, NFL or OG.

Benjamins(3-5) vs. Wolverines(2-6)
-------------------------------------------------------
Getting 38 points from his receiving corps, the
Benjamins solidly beat the Skunk Bears 67-45.

Tadows!(2-6) vs. Bear Slayers (5-3)
-------------------------------------------------------
Manning is on fire and Ed is burning up teams with
him. Though Peyton's 22 wouldn't have been enough
without another surprise QB performance by Adam
Viniatieri. The clutch kicker put in 4 FGs, 4 XPts,
and threw a touchdown to match Manning with 22 points
of his own. Ed shouts Tadow! as his team beats the
Slayers 69-57.

Top Gun (4-4) vs. West Side Runners-Up (3-4)
-------------------------------------------------------
Last week Ken was talking about selling his players.
This week Famy is saying, "I shoulda bought me some of
that." The Runners lap the Guns 97-62, putting up the
high score for the week and pulling into a three way
tie for the 2nd wild card seat.

Fasy:
McNabb sucks!!!

McNabb chokes!!!!!!!

Guess whose becoming McNabb?

Culpepper!!!  (No wonder I didn't like drafting these quarterbacks, undependable)

Rob: Week 10 Wrap-Up
It's that time of the season when every game has
playoff implications. So let's get to it.

Fasy Bears @ Famy Guns
-----------------------
Big game for the Guns this week as they are fighting
for a playoff spot. Famy pulls off a last minute
trade for Blaylock to fill in for the injured Holmes
... which Blaylock did admirably with 224 total yards
and a TD. But it wasn't enough to fend off the Bears
who used Owens' 24 point Monday night performance to
put up the high score of 84 points this week.

Blaylock's points may still come in handy as the
fourth playoff spot may very well be decided on a
points tie breaker this year.

As for Fasy, he has points to spare as he clinches a
playoff birth. Congrats to the Bears.

Bear Slayers @ Benjamins
---------------------------
The Benjamins had a chance to help pull the Slayers
out of the playoffs and help put themselves in, but
Curtis Martin scoring two touchdowns versus the
staunch Ravens D was just what Wade needed to win this
65-53 would-have-been squeeker.

Wolverines @ Durham Bullies
-----------------------------
The Bullies thought they'd taunt the Wolverines by
starting a bye week kicker and leaving their defense
completely out of the lineup. If you're gonna
disrespect the 'rines, you better bring more than 36
points. The Wolverines sing some Aretha Franklin to
the tune of a 62-36 win.

Runners-Up @ Tadow!
---------------------
Gimme a "T" - Manning to Stokley
Gimme an "A" - Manning to Wayne
Gimme a "D" - Manning to Clark
Gimme an "O" - Manning to Stokley
Gimme a "W" - Manning to Clark

Manning throws another five touchdown game - one for
every letter of Tadow! as Ed's elated interjections
pass the Runners down the stretch 81-74.

Chris:
Someone should call Ed and tell him his team name is
Tadow! If you talk with him, maybe you can show him
the website...

Tadow!

Ken:
While I appreciate the nice summary, you failed to leave out the part of
my 81-74 loss with last minute substitutions:

Rudi Johnson out, Portis in (6 point loss)
Mushin Mohammad out, Johnnie Morton in (22 point loss)
Stokly out, Peerless Price in (17 point loss).

had I just done nothing, 119 points for me and 5-5 record with the lead on
the fourth playoff spot.

enough whining, but it seems all my team is left with after not countering
Manning with Stokley and losing to Tadow!
-Ken

Rob: Picks Dues and Bets Update
Fasy's and my Tampa for Miami trade included a 14th
rounder to me.

While Ben remains tied for the 4th playoff seat and
may upset Fasy in the playoffs, Fasy has already won
their bet on the regular season standings.

2005 Rob gets Famy's 2nd, 5th, & 7th.
2005 Rob gets Fasy's 14th.

Bets:

Ken:
I am pleased to see that I am still up money, although this season will
be making a dent into that. However, I am not up on draft picks... and
would like to change that. All offers entertained. All players are for
sale, including possible keepers.

Ken

Rob: Week 11 Standings
Hey, everyone. I'm sorry I won't have a chance to
comment on how the dust settled after this week's
scuffle, but I wanted to at least send out the
standings.

The big thing to notice is, Tadow!, Ed is currently in
the number 4 spot with five wins. But he can't rest
easy because he has the entire other half of the
league just one game behind. Famy, Ken, Ben, and I
all have four wins.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Rob

Rob: Week 12 Wrap-up
How do you make up for starting the season with a six
game losing streak? Just ask Ed. Ed reversed his
fortunes and brought his current winning streak to six
as the Tadows! thoroughly whipped the Fasy Bears
88-55. Ed continues to hold on to the fourth playoff
seat.

Ken's Runners starting chasing the Tadows! in full
sprint this week and left the Wolverines in a cloud of
dust 130-72. Except for Muhsin, everyone on Ken's
team contributed double digit fantasy points.

Famy's Guns are also trying to shoot their way back
into the playoffs by giving the Slayers a lead bath
86-63.

The Bullies taunted the Benjamins by tying the second
lowest score of 55 and laughing as Ben's Greenbacks
put up 47. The win moves Chris' Bullies into the
second playoff seat. Ben and I continue to fight for
last. I'm rooting for the Benjamins to get that
honor.

Great recap. Don't forget that Stokely and his 3 TD were on my bench
during the all-time RECORD of 130 points.

nobody wants a piece of me in the playoffs,

Fasy:

who are you?

Fasy:
I've decided to give everyone a DISCOUNT,  25% off the fee.  Final offer.

Let me know who's in or out!!!  At least you losers are saving some money.  WAKA WAKA

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

For Christmas, we should meet up for a Texas Hold'em Tournament - "All In"

Rob, coordinate that please.

Chris:
Here's a discount. Go buy the big barrel of KY and
lube up. It will save you the pain and cost of taking
the splinters out after you get bullied out of the
playoffs.

I'm in for the hold'em tourney. I'll bring Ken and his
'dead money'.

Fasy:

I'm your huckleberry!!!!!!  Bring it, lunger!!!

Rob: Week 13 - 30 second review
This was such an exciting week that I'm sorry that I
only have time for a 30 second review.

The Bears mauled the Wolverines 100-54, officially
knocking the Wolverines out of the playoff hunt.

The Bears Slayers staked the Runners-up 98-68,
officially knocking the Runners out of the playoff
hunt and clinching a playoff spot for the Slayers.

The Top Gun shot down the Benjamins 67-54, officially
ending the Benjamins playoff hunt and keeping the Guns
hunt alive.

The Tadows! exclaimed victory over the Bullies 70-55
in a huge game that opened up the door for an exciting
week 14.

Games to Watch in week 14.
-----------------------------
Tadows! vs Wolverines. If Ed wins, he's in, and Famy
and Chris will be fighting head to head for the last
free spot.

Durham Bullies vs Top Gun. This one is huge. If
Chris wins, he and Ed are both in the playoffs. If
Famy wins we will have a tie between he and Chris -
and Ed too if he loses.

Our league rule is the website rules break the ties.
I just looked up yahoo's rules:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/football/frules/frules-16.html
.

I believe overall win% is your win% if you played
every team every week. It's the best measure of team
strength, so it's a good tiebreaker. It correlates
highly with total points scored, but not perfectly.
So with Chris and Famy so close in total points, it's
possible the one with more total points may have a
slightly lower win%.

Chris:
Rob,
I don't need the tie breaker system to send Famy back
to his girls without the hope of a fantasy title this
year.

To quote Famy in announcing his latest, "at least I
have fantasy football" Well, not much longer. Enjoy
your week.

Fasy:
Rob,

you were kicked out along time ago,  probably week 4.  Let's play "where's Ken?"

It doesn't who I will face, I'm just too DOMINATING!!!!

If i don't get any $ for Points I'm resting my players.

Famy and Chris,  don't hate the playa hate the game!!!!

      I'm ALL IN!!!!

Famy:
To quote a great kung fu flick, "I'm not dead yet!!!"

Fasy:

Yeah,  but  "it hurt!!!!"

Chris:
You're all a bunch of clowns. Count me in for the last
playoff spot. Famy, take a break and wait for next
year.

Fasy, rest your players, because I'm coming for you
and hell's coming with me.

Fasy:

I believe the Fasy Bears will be hibernating after they win and dominate the
Championship Game.  If I feel like being nice, I may allow you to be competitive for the Pro Bowl $.

Rob: OG reminder - rosters lock after kickoff
Hey, everyone. Exciting week 14 is here. Since I
play a big factor in who makes the playoffs, even
though it can't be my team, I made sure to set my
lineup this week out of fairness.

Remember that the rosters lock after kickoff. That is
you can't add/drop players anymore; you can only
change who starts and sits. So do any last minute
fine tuning now.

Good luck to everyone who still has a reason to want
it this week. Everyone else, I'll see you in the
Probowl!

-Rob

Rob: Playoff Update
Exciting Monday night for Famy, Chris, and Ed.

Scores as of 5am on Yahoo (they sometimes change at
this hour):

Tadows 50 + Kennision
vs.
Wolverines 51 + Mason

Bullies 42 + Gonzo
vs.
Guns 70

--------------------------------------------

If Ed wins, he's in. If Ed loses, he's most likely
out unless Chris comes back to beat Famy. So tonight,
Ed will be chanting "Kennison or Gonzo, Kennision or
Gonzo, No! Not Mason, Kennison or Gonzo."

Meanwhile, Chris will be yelling, "Gonzo, Gonzo,
Gonzo" and Famy "Not Gonzo, Not Gonzo, Anybody but
Gonzo!" The Bullies need a big game from the muppet
tight end, but not the full 29 points needed to win
this week's game. If Gonzo gets 22pts, Chris and Famy
will be tied in record, but Chris will win the
tiebreaker by one point. If Gonzo gets 21pts, the
tiebreaker will be last week's score and the Guns will
advance.

Enjoy the Game Tonight!
-RA

Rob: Week 14 Results
I thought I heard yelling last night.

Ed: "Yes! Touchdown Kennison!"
Ed: "No! Touchdown Mason."
Chris: "Com'on, Gonzo's wide open!"
Famy: "Oh, yeah, no Gonzo, no Gonzo."
Ed: "Touchdown Kennison! TADOW! Look who's in the
playoffs now!"

Ed's 66-57 win over the Wolverines extended his
winning streak to 8 wins, which gives the Tadows ... 8
wins. Plenty to secure the 3rd playoff seat.

Famy needed to win by 8 points or more to make the
playoffs. His Guns won 70-45, tying the Bullies with
seven wins and beating them in total points 949-931.
Tough break for Chris' Bullies who played a good
season. It was a lousy week for his players to decide
to not show up.

So this weekend it'll be:
Fasy Bears vs Top Gun
Bear Slayers vs Tadows!

Good luck in the playoffs, you four.

=====================================================

In the also ran news, kudos to Ben for not giving up
on the season. His play of Duckett got him an 88-65
win over the Runners and spared him the shame of a
last place finish. That dubious honor goes to the
Wolverines. All I have to say is watch out next year,
chumps, because we heal fast.

Fasy:
In the words of the ROCK,  "Just Bring It!!!!!"
The question is 'what happened to the Bullies?'
How ironic that during Halftime they did a story on GONZO on how he was bullied in High School.
Guess what happened to them,  ABSENCT, No where to be found, Nothing but History!!!!
That sounds like Chris' Bullies.
Sorry Chris,  why don't you work on a CHEER with Rob, Ken, Ben.   The "WE Suck" cheer.

Predictions:
Bears - unstoppable   Top Gun - shotting blanks
Slayers - "thanks" Foz    Tadows - are you coaching you team at all!!!!

Hope to see you guys during Christmas.  If not, have a great one.
Remember:  Hold 'em -  I'm all in.

Rob: Week 15 Update
The 11-3 season of the Fasy Bears came to an abrupt
halt on Sunday. After averaging over 70 points a game
for the regular season, the Bears put up 40 points in
their playoff game. Culpepper put up half that with
21, but an injury to Owens, along with practical no
shows by Andre Johnson and Marcus Robinson left the
Bears with 2 points from their whole receiving corps.
Adding insult to injury, even their kicker, Akers, got
blanked.

Meanwhile, the Guns got 16 from Jimmy Smith, 9 from
Marvin Harrison, and 10 from Kevin Jones. Pennington
put the nail in the coffin with a 17 point game.

Bears 40 - Guns 63+McMichael
------------------------------------------------------
The Bear Slayers, who made the playoffs with
unbelievably lucky matchups during the regular season,
suddenly look like a powerhouse team. With 20 points
from Drew Bennett, 18 from Martin, 11 from Moss, and
10 from Plummer, the Slayers have 74 with Dillon yet
to play.

It wasn't just the Indy fans booing when Manning made
the classy move of taking a knee on the Baltimore
three yard line with 20 seconds left in the game. Ed
was cursing like a pregnant sailor. The Tadows! are
stil having a strong week with 13 from Bettis, 10 from
Goings, and 17 from Eddie Kennison, but being down 8
points to Wade, Vinatieri is going to need a heck of
game.

Slayers 74+Dillon - Tadows! 66+Vinatieri

Rob: Week 15 Results
The Bear Slayers finished off the Tadows with a 92-70
win.

The Top Gun beat the Bears with a 64-40.

So, the 1998 Champion Bear Slayers will face the 1997
& 2000 Champion Top Gun. Good luck, you two.
--------------------------------------------------------
Since I'm sure Fasy is already disconsolate over Famy
usurping his championship spot, I won't worry about
rubbing salt in his wounds by answering his question,
"Did the Dillon/Horn for Alexander trade kill me?"

The answer is assuming you still would have made the
playoffs as the top seed and Famy still would have
been the fourth seed (not say Wade or Chris), then
yes.

You would have started Dillon and Horn over Alexander
and Robinson. That would have been a twenty-four
point swing and made the final score a tie! 64-64.
The first tie breaker (as I now understand it) is win
percentage, which the Bears would have won having the
best regular season record.

If there is any consolation, with T.O. done until the
SuperBowl at best, it would have been a tough
championship game for you.

- RA

Famy:
A little more irony here is that I originally traded Corey Dillon to Fasy
for Kevin Jones and his 2nd rounder. In the end both players played a big
role in his demise in the playoffs.

Next year I will be offering an online course on fantasy football: General
Managing 101. Chris, Ben, Ed and Fasy are prime candidates for this course.

Wade, your no daisy!!!

Fasy:
Famy,

You are getting COAL for Christmas Punk!!!!!!!

I don't care that you are Biological brother or NOT!!!

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Did we settle a time yet, Rob?

Also, I will coming home tomorrow morning.

Rob: Guns Win the Championship
In one of the closest championships on record, the Top
Gun shot down the Bear Slayers 53-50.

Congratulations to Famy on his 6th title.

In the consolation bracket, the Bears beat the Tadows
by an equally tight score of 65-61. Such is the craps
shoot that is the playoffs that the 3rd and 4th place
teams outscored the 1st and 2nd place teams in the
championship week.
