The Feel
Good Sports Story of 2001:
In 1997 the Wolverines met the Lost Boys in the infamous Black Sox Bowl.
Though Stare outscored Ed, he was denied the title and a curse was
placed on the Wolverines.
In the years that followed, the Wolverines would come to the
championship game time and time again, only to suffer the same
misfortune of being denied a ring.
Today, the curse is broken, and America Rejoices for the People's
Champion. Go, Wolverines!!! |

Huge! First, the Titos are gone, except for Ben whose the Janet of that
division. Second, all the Michaels have a shot at the playoffs!
Week 14 tie breakers. --> points to the winner if the following teams
have tied records.
Ken & Rob --> Ken (they'll play each other wk 15)
Ken & Guns --> Ken (he'll play the loser of the wk 14 Rob-Ben
game. Guns will play the winner of that game.)
Guns & Wade --> Wade on the 2nd tie breaker! Guns will be out,
Wade'll play the winner of Ben-Rob. Ken'll play the loser of Ben-Rob.
I couldn't find this in our charter so let me officially remind everyone
of the tie breakers. #1 head to head record. #2 division record. #3
points for. #4 commish.com power ranking. #5 five card cold hand for it.

Playoffs,
here I come. Since I won't be seated number 1 this year, I am free to
say the top seated team should get home field adv. They dominated all
season -- they deserved something more than having to play some team
that lucked into the playoffs only to have a monster week 15.
Along those lines, I called Ms. Cleo last night and feel prophetically
sympathetic for Ben's 11-3 Cramps losing to Famy's 7-7 Gun's in the
playoffs. But cheer up, Ben, I avenge you in the championship. |

amusement, and perhaps ours. Everyone is capped at 20 players. --- I'm
am confused how Ben dropped a QB for a TE and only ended up with 2 TEs.
I apologize if I missed an illegal transaction. --- Remember to keep all
your required backups. If I notice a transaction that puts you in an
illegal situation, I'll undue the transaction and try to get a hold of

Rank the following options 1,2,3 with 1 as first choice and 3 as last
choice.
A - waiver bid system (everyone gets an equal shot at players after the
weekend by bidding)
B - commissioner.com system (last place teams get first shot at players)
C - first come first serve.

share my current, favorite solution for this fantasy annoyance -- a
SUPER DRAFT LEAGUE.
In a Super Draft League, we'd draft 40 players! No IR, No position
minimum requirement, No Waiver Wire. All player movement would be done
through trades, and trades alone!

We establish a waiver wire system where any pickups between the first
game of the week and Tuesday night are done by bidding on the player you
want. Pickups any other time are first come first serve.
We get $50 for the season to make bids. You bid the max of what you're
willing to pay for that player. If you win, you only pay $1 more than
the next highest bid (I bid $5 and you bid $50 means you only pay $6.)
Logistics: you'd send me an email entitled only "player bid"
with your bid for a certain player. Tuesday night I send my bids to all
of you, then look at all your bids, and then send all the bids and
results to everyone.
Current votes: I really don't remember so you have to vote again. I vote
"in favor". |
