Autumn 1949: Constrution of a new Colisee with 10 000 seats. | |

December 8 1949: First hockey game between the Quebec Aces and the Quebec Citadelles. The seats weren't even installed! | |

April 26 1951: Record attendance in the Colisee for the Memorial Cup Eastern Final between the Barrie Flyers and the Quebec Citadelles. 16 806 saw that game. That record still holds today. | |

October 1972: The Colisee becomes the official home of the Quebec Nordiques | |

March 1979: Project to enlarge the Colisee to satisfy the needs of the NHL. | |

January 28 1981: Inauguration with the new Colisee of 15339 seats. | |

During its history, the Colisée has been the home of many teams: the Quebec Aces, the Quebec Nordiques, the Quebec Rafales, the Quebec Citadelles, the Quebec Frontenacs and the Quebec Remparts at hockey and the Quebec Caribous in the National Lacrosse League. It has also been the secondary building of the Beauport Harfangs, the "SOS" building of the Philadelphia Flyers and has also held a pre-season game of the Montrela Roadrunners of the RHI and many other shows | |
