Chris was another extremely important part of last season's success, contributing in many areas. In his sophomore year on the varsity, Chris finished with a record of 5-2 on the mound, leading the team in wins and record. He also contributed at third base while he wasn't pitching. Unfortunately last season, arm troubles prevented him from contributing on the mound, but remained solid at third base and making a position change to behind the plate once a week. Without his excellent play behind the plate and at third base, Bellport would not have had the outstanding season they did. Look for Clark to return to his home on the mound this season, his senior year, and to dominate teams while out there. He will also continue to provide defensive prowess behind the plate and at the hot corner while giving the team some much needed leadership.
