Head Coach Terry Verrelli with the 1988 PIAA Class "A"/"AA" Runner-Up trophy. The Hounds went 14-1 en route to an appearance in the first ever PIAA Championship Game held in Altoona. During his 21 years at the helm of the Greyhound program, Verrelli has 120 + wins, has captured the WPIAL Class "A" title two times, has four District 10 titles, has a District 10 Runner-up title, has one PIAA Class "A"/"AA" Runner-Up title, and made an appearance in the 1997 PIAA Western Finals game. In 1996, his Hounds Hammer Defense went through 8 games without being scored upon before giving up 7 points to Sharon in "The Game of the Decade." Other accomplishments include having a 36 game MCAC Conference winning streak. |
