"You sit there and you thump your Bible and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere. You talk about your Psalms, you talk about John 3:16. Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your a--."--following his King of the Ring victory over Jake Roberts.

"You better give your soul to the Lord or someone, 'cause your a-- is mine."--To Brian Pillman on Monday Night Raw

"I'll kiss his a-- if I can't kick it, and that's the way it's gonna be."--several weeks prior to his match against Intercontinental champion Owen Hart at SummerSlam '97.

"And that's the bottom line 'cause Stone Cold said so."

Trained by Chris Adams.

In an interview with Raw Magazine, he said that he uses three and four letter words to get his point across. He also says that Austin 3:16 wasn't a jab at religion, but a jab at Jake Roberts for bringing religion into the King of the Ring match.

Brought into the WWF by Ted DiBiase as the Million Dollar champion under the name Ringmaster.

Says WCW didn't think a man with black tights and black boots was marketable. The Austin 3:16 t-shirt is the best-selling WWF shirt of all time.

Involved in a feud with the Hart Foundation. He has sneak-attacked members of the Foundation, and Foundation members have attacked him.

Involved in one of the most controversial episodes in wrestling history when he broke into Brian Pillman's house during a live interview.

Once called the best wrestler in the WWF by Vince McMahon and Bret Hart.

The turning point of his WWF career was the no-holds-barred match at WrestleMania XIII. Rather than submit, Austin passed out then refused medical help despite a gash in his forehead (anyone who doesn't think it was real blood needs to watch the tape again.)

I was within ten feet of him while watching wrestlers drive out of the parking lot following the live WWF card I attended in Salt Lake.

Nearly won the WWF World title from the Undertaker at Cold Day in Hell.

Won the Intercontinental title at King of the Ring despite suffering acute spinal trauma from a tombstone piledriver from Owen Hart.

Shortly after being suspended due to injury, he attacked Jim Ross, Sgt. Slaughter, Vince McMahon, and nearly everyone else.

Helped the Headbangers win the vacant WWF World Tag Team titles previously held by Austin & Dude Love, but prevented anyone but Owen Hart from winning the Intercontinental title.

Surprised Owen Hart with a Stone Cold Stunner to win the Intercontinental title at Survivor Series '97.

Has never been pinned to lose a title in the WWF.
