Latest On Stadium Issue.

For over several months now, the plan to build a new stadium for the Patriots has been at a stand-still. Patriots owner Robert Kraft has went ahead and discussed a new stadium with the state of Connecticut. Kraft and Governor John G. Rowland of Connecticut have had at least 17 conversations in the last six months about the Patriots playing in a new stadium in Hartford.
Rowland is waiting to see what happens in the Massachusetts Legislature after July 31. If there is no agreement on the proposal to build a new stadium in Foxborough, Rowland and the state of Connecticut will act on a plan for the stadium.
Fans have mixed feelings about this Connecticut stadium plan. They're happy that they will get a new stadium, but they would rather have it in Massachusetts, where all the history is.

Hopefully the Massachusetts Legislature will act soon and go forth with the proposed stadium plan in Foxborough.
