Another Rookie Signing The Patriots signed seventh-round draft pick Jason Andersen yesterday. Anderson, a 6-foot-6-inch, 315-pound offensive lineman, signed to a multiyear deal. Terms were not disclosed. Andersen, who played all positions on Brigham Young's offensive line, is also a long snapper. His long-snapping ability is a vital part to the Patriots. He will compete with backup TE Mike Bartrum for the starting long-snapping duties. Earlier this week, rookie TE Rod Rutlege signed and more are expected within a matter of days. |
