In perhaps the best news this week, LB Renaldo Turnbull may become a Patriot...as well as RB Erric Pegram.
Looking for a veteran free agent in the mold of Henry Thomas, the Patriots may consider linebacker Renaldo Turnbull, once a prominent part of New England defensive coordinator Steve Sidwell's New Orleans defense.

The Patriots will work out Erric Pegram Tuesday at Foxboro Stadium. Then they'll likely decide which of the available veterans they will sign as a third-down running back.

Players say that this offseason's strength and conditioning program is one of the toughest in recent memory.
