1998 Underwater Hockey World Championships Logo Clothing Information and Instruction Sheet

This year we will be offering several beautiful and unique 100% cotton clothing options before and during the World Championships in San Jose, California.

DESCRIPTIONS:

The World Championship logo was designed by Beth Anderson and features a distinctive and artistic silouette of a hockey player in midmotion. It will be boldly presented with silkscreen on a long sleeve casu-twill denim pullover as well as several colors of T-shirts (including long sleeve and youth styles) and tanktops (including a ladies style). A smaller version of this logo can also be found silkscreened on navy pocketed jersey shorts. We will also be offering the smaller version of the logo beautifully embroidered onto polo shirts (in 6 colors) and on baseball caps.

There are four ways to purchase this clothing:

First, to be assured that you receive exactly what you want, you may fill out an order form now and be sure that we receive it by May 11 by email or regular mail. We can then fill and hold your order until it is picked up at the tournament. If it is paid for at the time of the order by check or money order, we can hold the order until pickup. Credit cards can not be accepted. This is the optimal method of ordering for those attending the tournament.

Second, you may fill out an order form precisely as described above (the May 11 deadline still applies), but wait to pay until you get to poolside. This would be the best option for those not able to pay in US funds right now (e.g. you may be from Canada, Columbia, South Africa,...). If it is convenient, teams may put their entire order on one form. If this option is selected, then payment and pickup must be made by Tuesday, June 2. If payment is not made by this time, we will make the clothing available for general sale to others that may be interested.

Third, you can come to the tournament and select from the clothing available in the clothing sales booth, which will be in operation from Monday,June 1 through Thursday,June 4. All of the styles and many of the sizes will be available, but the numbers will be limited to our best guesses of demand. If we run out of a particular item, we will be able to take orders of silkscreened items only (no embroidered items) until June 4. Although there is a very good chance that these late orders can be filled within the next week, there will be no guarantees. There will be a few additional hours of sales and pickup of orders on June 12-14, but by this time the choices for sale will probably be extremely limited with no chance for ordering thereafter.

Fourth, for those of you not able to attend the tournament, but would still like to order some clothing to be sent to an address in the US, your order must be received by May 11 if you order embroidered clothing and by June 4 if you order only silkscreened items. Payment for clothing and shipping must be made in US funds before the items can be shipped to you.

We would like to have available enough clothing for those interested in taking home souvenirs for themselves and gifts for friends and other loved ones, so please order early. When you order early, you will be sure to get what you want and we will be better informed about the interests of those coming to the World Championships as well as those interested in supporting the World effort.
