Why is it

Where do the angles come from?

I guess that many will wonder why I don't mention much about the WWF. Well I found out real fast that nothing is going on there, that could keep my attention for very long, so I will talk about it, and then get to some real wrestling talk. I was amazed to see first Ross and the man that he has been talking against for the last few months, sitting side by side. I kept waiting for some words between them, but to no avail. Maybe they made up; who knows? And then I see where this shotgun comes from; from a bar? Then I take a look at the ring and I think, how can you put two wrestlers and a referee in that small of a ring? Though that hour , I sat there and waited for some little spark that would encourage me to tune in next week. No way. When is WWF going to learn that if they want to come out on top in the ring wars, they have to first have the talent, and then they have to have the brains to use that talent, and then they have to get the attention of fans like me who enjoy good wrestling. Dustin is still hanging on to that angle that even his dad won't mention, and guys like Sid and Shawn are still trying to get the attention of each other instead of the wresting fans. Bring back Bret Hart big. Give him a chance to draw the fans back. Throw guys like Vader and Sid,Owen Hart, and their buddies out of WWF, and bring in either the old men, that got them there, or the young ones coming up. And it wouldn't hurt to clean up in the ranks of the top dogs too. Many times you have to take a good look at where the problem is and then do away with it.

Ok, enough of that and now we go to the WCW, where there need to be some changes also. Here is what I would do to bring WCW back to where they were before this terrible angle dropped them in the crap bucket, to use a phrase. I set there saturday night and watched the usual two hours, that I have watched for several months, with one thought. The Disco Inferno needs to get a real shot at showing his skills. I about fell out of my chair, laughing at him. That is what we need.

Last week I told you what I thought would happen when Sting comes back, and this week, I am going to stand out on the front porch with this prediction. I think that within a few weeks we are going to the emergence of Ole Anderson, Dusty Rhodes, and many old wrestlers at WCW to try and get it back in control. They stayed by the wayside long enough, and it is time to start spanking some young butts. Has the last year of WCW just been a soap opera, that could of been put on the network stations? If so then why watch each week? You can miss a week and still catch up with one episode..

Have you noticed Eric lately? He went from being a good announcer to being the laughing stock of the wrestling world. The only thing left for him is to take up wrestling as a career, and job out to the ones coming up. I would like to see him in a match, that would end up with his loss of his hair, or some other part of his features. Maybe Hogan promised him a part in the movies too. I have been a wrestling fan for many years, and I have seen many angles. Usually a new angle brings more excitement into the sport, and thus more fan support. What I see on Nitro just makes me sick. The ladder that WCW has used in the last few years to climb to the very top has broken down. In the past few weeks, a step of that ladder has been broken off each night. Eric has not only ruined the future of WCW, he has set it back so far, that it might never recover.

In "Uncensored"., we saw the emergence of the bad boy from the NBA ,coming to the fold of the NWO. This led me to believe that Hogan had promised again one more sucker a part in his upcoming movies, to get them to join him in the square circle. This probaly was a one time deal with the bad boy getting the fall guy status, if Hogan loses. When will the wrestlers learn that you can't believe the man? He can't be trusted.

Then Flair and Piper teaming up was really funny. All Flair wanted was one more time to be the champ , and he willing to do anything to get it.Watch out Piper, and anyone else, don't turn your back on Flair. He is the dirtiest man in wrestling today, and if my thoughts are right, you will see Flair and Hogan going for the whole thing in a future pay for view. I have watched Pro wrestling for almost 50 years, and I have seen it all.We as fans will see once again the Nature Boy as the champ, and it won't be too much longer. When Flair offered his support to Roddy, he had a ace up his sleeve.

It is said that there is problems between Hogan and Nash. If so then where will Hall go. And then the going over by Larry on Eric didn't do them any good either. Eric lost some points there. It will be very interesting to see how long the rest of the bad guys stay together, once the ship starts sinking.

And I really am wondering what the angle of the million dollar man, going with the Steiners, is . When you think about it, nobody had said anything about Ted not being with the NWO. I'm wondering if it isn't just a ploy to get on the inside of Scott and Rick, thus helping the outsiders in the upcoming match. Ted has done some dirty deals, so watch out, Rick and Scott, for some backstabbing. I sure hope not.

Malenko and Jarrett, can you believe it? How long will Malenko go before he knocks Jarrett off that high perch he is on? And How long will it be before Hennig lowers the boom on Flair.?

But the big question is; how much longer will it be before Sting comes back to the square circle, with his blond short hair, and makes his move to the belt. My answer to all of these questions is that it won't be much longer, and I can't wait.

The WWF is fighting from within, and all it is going to get them is the losing of the fan support. You don't insult the fans for long before it backfires on you. The insults by Bret Hart and the insults of the Heartbreak Kid makes me sick. You don't run down my country and get away with it. And you don't attack the fans without getting burned by it. My questions about the WWF are these.

How much longer are Golddust and Marlena going to waste their time in that getup, before picking on another angle?. How much longer is Hunter and his mangirl going to stay together? And when is the boss of the WWF, going to stop taking the insults by the wrestlers before he lays a fist on them? Speaking of laying of the fists on someone, I sure would like to see the King and Ross laid out.

A little thought about wrestling today, as to what it was in the sixtys. There is more money involved and there is more backstabbing going on. And of course there is television to bring to you instead of the way we saw the matches.
I would think that Eric and his brood have lost any chance of climbing out of the deep hole , that he has made for himself. How long do you think we are going to watch the stupid goings on that we see each night. I am ready to abandon the WCW ship, and find a wrestling organization that wants to keep a fan support, and have quality matches. We, as wrestling fans are usally easy to please, and we want to see different angles sprung on us once in a while, but we are not idoits. You can't continue to sucker us into watching another night, with the hope of seeing the end to an angle, that has been the worst one thought of in all of wrestling.

I personally have been a fan of WCW since the NWA and AWA days, and I want to continue, but my set will be turned to another progam, until someone tells me that WCW has come to their senses, and decided to dump Eric, and whoever else, who masterminds this downfall that they have created.

WCW has had in recent years the best talent, available in wrestling, and they used that talent to get them on top. Just maybe WCW needs to clean house, and bring back what got them there. Bring back Ole Anderson, and get Dusty back in the saddle. We need some old blood to get the new blood boiling. Whatever is done, it needs to be done fast. This old man is hoping for a new ladder, with stronger rungs on it. When you get to the very top, you don't just jump off. That is what happened . I had to get this off my chest, and what better way than on the internet.

Dean Malenko. Here is the only one wrestling today that actually wrestles. I personally think that this man deserves a match for the belt that Hogan wears in shame. At least this man knows how to wrestle. Wrestling has gotten away from what it is suppose to be, and that is bona-fide holds.

The Stinger will stay with WCW, because without him, they are doomed. Sting is waiting for just the right time to burst back in to actual matches, and when he does, all hell will break loose. As far as the NWO is concerned, you won't see Sting going that way. He is the backbone of the WCW, and I don't think that he is crazy enough to join an organization that thrives on hate and violence. Sting is the one man that could put WCW back on top, and when he makes that move, he will have all the WCW behind him.

I personally think that WCW needs to kick out Eric, and lay down new rules. When you are the new kid on the block, you go by the rules already in force. This didn't happen with NWO, and the fans were cheated out of good wrestling, and subjected to hatred and violence. Where they thought they were going with that angle, did not work, and I was ready to leave that organization and go to one worthy of this old man's time. I will wait in the background for WCW to rise in victory. Until then I will continue to voice my disgust with them and the operation.

I first saw Hogan when he was sort of a bad guy, and really wasn't a big name. I think that he was thrown into the star status by appearing in the Rocky movie. Some wrestlers have to have that push if they are going to be stars, and he got that push there. When he went into the WWF, he started being the good guy, but not until he took the knocks needed to make him appeal to the fans. The day that Hogan took the championship, he started up a friendship with the man that should of been the champ,Andre The Giant. I think that this was the first real step to gaining the fan support, needed to be the icon of wrestling. At that time someone had brains enough to add stars to the wrestlers, that the fans flock to see. Mr. T was one of these stars. Without these pushes by the promoters, Hogan would not of made it in wrestling. Nevertheless. Hogan did make it, and he went far. Maybe he went too far, and got too big. This is just my opinion, and not one to be meant as a professional statement. When Hogan left the WWF, everyone wondered why, because it looked like he found a home, where he would be the top dog. Evidenly it wasn't to be that way, and it was time to move on to greener pastures, and what better place than WCW where the big boys play. Hogan was a big plus for WCW, and no doubt that he made it better. The hulkster was a big drawing card and that brought better wrestlers to WCW too. But I feel that when they decided to make him a heel, they not only ruined him, but also it stated WCW on the road down too. Hogan was the man that the youngsters looked up to, and that was ruined also. You can only turn face once with a boni-fied wrestling fan, and after that you wonder how far it will be before he goes bad again. I personnaly feel that the career of Hogan as an idol is over, and also I feel that the big boy behind it all,Mr. Eric Bishoff, dug a hole that he can't get out of and survive as a force in pro wrestling. Both men should try to bow out as gracefully as they can, because the longer that they stay with this current angle, they will only be just memories. In this article I have given the past, present, and future of what was a great showman and idol of wrestling fans young and old. As I said earlier. this is my opinion, and I hope that maybe someone else will express their thoughts on this man called "THE HULKSTER-HULK HOGAN" .

I watch all the WCW matches I can on television, And I wish they would show up in the great city of Kokomo, Indiana. There are a lot of fans that would go to the matches, and many of them would say to one another, that if the great "Dick The Bruiser" was in there, some of those so-called bad men would be carried out on a stretcher.

The questions in pro wrestling are always why do you watch them. I answer only to that with this answer. I like it.
