I can't wait for those announcers to get a little backbone and slap that little boss of theirs around. The only way to clean up a mess is to bring in the troops and start doing it
right. So I and my old men will gladly go to WCW, and attempt to mop up the mess, started by an angle called a mistake. We will not sit by and wait for those sissy-eyed members of WCW to take
the bull by the horns and rid themselves of Eric, Hogan, and whoever else is with them. We have been there, and it looks like we are needed once more. Ok, this is what we as longtime fans have said we will do to get wrestling back on the right track. We know that we might very well be asking for too much, but think about it. Has anyone else come up with a solution? What We are trying to say is that you can't continue to build a fire if you want to put it out. Get a good crew of "Horsemen", bring
Sting and Lugar back to the top and tell the women to get in the ring and fight or get out. Enough said . My fellow wrestling fans and I are going into training, just in case we get called to
duty. So if you suddenly see several old men climbing in the ring,spare us the laughs, because we have been there, and are ready to once more don our tights {if they fit}, and run over those young pipsqueaks, that are ruining the sport called wrestling.
We as fans expect the best out of the wrestler, but we don't expect to see his dirty wash. Both WWF and WCW, in the past year, have used all these tricks to get more exposure, and all it's done is to get the old fan upset. I am not perfect by any means, and I sure wouldn't want to have my dirty wash out there for all to see. When will we start seeing good wrestling on television, that a young child can watch? Remember people, the reason that guys like me, are still watching wrestling,is because they grew up with it. Even though there were bad guys
against good guys, in the ring, once they were in street clothes, they were good guys only. We need to bring back those values so that my grandchildren will go to the matches and learn about the good side of the sport.
Enough of the soapbox lecture, so lets get down with all the happenings in pro
wrestling. I said I wouldn't but I turned on another edition of shotgun, to see if it was any better than last week. Big mistake. All I seen was a lot of flesh, brother against brother attitude, and a lot of mouth. I don't need that so I won't tune in again, until I see where they have changed.
I get around to the wrestling fans here in Kokomo, and I always try to find out their opinions on my articles and what their feeling are about wrestling. In future articles, I am going to give a view from the fan so that you can see that my feelings are not the only ones out there.
Here is the start of the downfall of the NWO. You will soon see the cleaning up of the trash in WCW. Hogan will go down, as the goat of an angle that a little punk thought would rock the wrestling world. As I have said in recent articles, I would like to see everyone in the WCW, get in the ring at the same time, pick out one man, and just
beat the heck out of him. Lets make it a little better than that. Lets put Hogan and Eric in there against all the rest, and watch the demise of the worst alliance in the history of the WCW.
As I have
stated before, Hogan can't go back to being a good guy, and neither can Eric. Hogan was a idol,and he let the little guys down, and Eric was a man of authority, who used that power to really mess up a good thing. Bye, bye. to those two. So in order to make their presence in wrestling as a memory that I would write about, lets go with a beat up Hogan and Eric match, and then go back to good wrestling. Right now the only good things going in WCW, is Malenko, The Steiners.Arn Anderson, Sting and Macho. That's a pretty good start to get going again. Then we could bring in some new blood to get the fan's support. I would personally like to see the Macho Man and Liz
back in the WCW, and Sting with his blond flattop, and even Arn Anderson as the head of the"Four Horsemen" with a new set of partners. Just think about it ; If the "Four Horsemen" were made up of Anderson, Sting, Macho Man, and Lex Lugar, nobody in wrestling today would be able to beat them. Just my thoughts, but think about it.
