Changes at Carnivals for Western Province
Rescue and Resuscitation remains a competition item.
Reel Alarm is re-instated as a competition item.
Belt Rescue remains out of provincial competitions for WP.

Bay Nippers bring back the jewellery from SA Champs.  Report.

The seniors and juniors brought back the gold when Maryanne Naude won the Ladies Flags title and the Junior team won the Rescue and Resusciation title at SA Nationals, held in Amanzimtoti.   Congratulations guys and gals.

Changes to age groups:
The following age groups come into immediate effect at Junior Carnivals:
Under 16 and Under 19 - for INDIVIDUAL events. (Under 18 falls away)
Team events will be a joint classification under JUNIORS.

Changes to One-Man CPR
Cycle is now: 5 Cycles of 2 Breaths and 15 Compressions in 1 Minute

Changes at Carnivals
Reel Alarm and Belt Rescue are no longer competition items at carnivals.
