1998-99: Scored the game winning goal (2PG) in the final NPSL Championship game ... Earned an assist in the 1999 NPSL All-Star Game ... Recorded 30 points in 30 games last season ... This is his sixth season with the Crunch ... Named the Crunch Rookie of the Year in 1995 ...  The 28 year old was a member of the 1994 U.S. National Team ... Was a teammate of Tommy Tanner at N.C. State.

1995-96: Scotty finished second on the Crunch in blocked shots last season (66) as he made his All-Star debut as a reserve in the 1995-96 All-Star Game. He also ended up second in the League in penalty minutes (66) and third in total fouls (110). The all-star defender scored in 14 of 40 regular season games last season. Schweitzer finished fifth in blocked shots (19) during the playoffs for the Crunch.

Career: Scott made his professional debut on October 22, 1994 with the Crunch after training with various French first, second and third division teams for two years. In 1994-95, he was named to the NPSL All-Rookie Team and named the Crunch "Rookie of the Year". On October 29, 1994 s. Buffalo, he scored his first NPSL goal. Scott has never missed a game since joining the Crunch, 99 straight regular season and playoff.

From 1992-94, he was a member of the U.S World University Games Team. At N.C. State, he was awarded ACC Player of the Year in 1992 and won All-American honors in 1991 and 1992. He led the Wolfpack to the finial 4 in 1991 and final 8 in 1992 and 1993.

Personal: Older brother Rob played at Louisville and younger brother Willy plays for the University of New Hampshire where Crunch teammate Mike Veneto played. Schweitzer is single and spent this past summer playing for the Hampton Roads Mariners of the USISL. Pronumciation of last name: Shh-white'-zuhr
