Last Season: On March 15, 1996 vs Harrisburg he made his pro debut, and on April 13, 1996 he played in his first professional playoff game, recording two blocked shots. Ball signed a developmental contract with an option for next season.

Career: John is the Crunch's second round draft pick from the 1996 NPSL college draft. At Southern Connecticut State University, he was a Second Team CoSida All-American, Second Team All-NECC member in '95, and a First Team All-NECC member in 1994. The Owls won the NCAA Div. II Championship during his freshman and senior years while reaching the final four every season.

Personal: John is single and spent this past summer playing for the New York Fever of the A-League.
