MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings agreed to terms on a one-year contract with quarterback Randall Cunningham, who is trying to come back after a one-year retirement.
Cunningham, 34, has not played since 1995 and spent the 1996 season as a football analyst for Turner Network Television.
He played his entire 11-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles and is the most prolific rushing quarterback in NFL history with 4,482 yards and 32 touchdowns on 677 carries. Cunningham completed nearly 56 percent of his passes for 22,877 yards with 150 touchdowns and 105 interceptions.
