Colin Ward

Personal: Colin is from Edmonton, Alberta and was born on the 5th September 1970.

Style: Colin is another player with a very laidback skating style, but who scoress a great number of goals. He can best be described as a poacher, and will be expected to lead Bracknell from the front again. There was unsurprisingly a great deal of relief when Colin finally decided to return to Bracknell for a second term.

Last Season: Last season, Colin joined Bracknell mid-season, and scored a 21 goals in all competitions. Indeed, it was Colin's 10 goals in the Express Cup that helped boost the club to it's first final. The fan's appreciation of him was demonstrated when they awarded him the Supporter's Forward of the Year Award. This year, he will hope to renew his good link up with Dale Junkin and improve on his score tally.

Career: Colin has played for several clubs before joining Bracknell. He spent four years at Western Michigan University, before leaving in 94/95. He split that season between Nashville and Atlanta, as he did the following season, also playing for Utah. Then, he moved to Europe, playing a season for Val Gardena in Italy. He played a few games for Dayton last year, before joining Bracknell. Over the summer, his agent tried to find him a club in Germany, believing he could find a better deal than that offered by Bracknell. However, the Bees never gave up, and eventually Colin had to admit he couldn't do better than Bracknell. Career Stats
