The other Ellis brother, Mike played first on the right-wing of the second line, but has now been moved next to his brother, Sparky. Last year he was definitely the better of the two, and one of our better players, but his brother has come back as a different player and eclipsed him. This is not to underate Spikey, who is a good player still. He is short, but makes up for it with speed and good positioning. He normally patrols the red-line when Bracknell are defending, but started as a defender and has played there for Bracknell. This means that when he does come back, he can be effective despite his size. He is never scared to put in a big check when it is necessary.
