Shayne is possibly the best defender to play at Bracknell since Matt Cote arrived at the Hive, and was easily Bracknell's best player last season. Indeed, I would go so far as to argue that he was the best defender in the league. He is fast, a very smove skater, an excellent stick handler, and is not afraid to scream forward at every single opportunity. He joins the attack to excellent effect when he goes forwards, and this often proves decisive in pulling teams out of position. He also scored possibly the best goal I have ever seen at the Hive against Manchester, putting home Pelly's drop pass from the slot. He was the top scorer for Bracknell during the play-offs.
