Andy Pickles is the son of BIHA secretary David Pickles. He is also a Bracknell defenceman. And a pretty good one too. As a bonus, he is British-born and British-trained (the only such player in the team). He was picked up by the Bees from Basingstoke after being (wrongly) discarded by that talent-spotter himself, GB and Moo-moo coach Peter Woods. He has since shown himself to be a quality player, adapting to the SuperLeague well. He normally plays on Matty's line, who makes up for any errors Andy commits. But these are fairly far and few between.
