Bernie returned for his second season at the Hive, and once more lead from the back. Keeping the Bees alive in many games, it was in no small part down to Bernie that Bracknell reached their first senior trophy. although he will no doubt feel to blame for Ayr's soft opening goal, this should not detract from his overall performance this season, and Bernie will always remain one of Bracknell's heroes.

Berny holds the senior level hockey world record for goalkeeper's assists in on game, with 4. This was particularly sweet, as his four assists helped turn a 6-5 deficit to a 9-6 win.....over the Moo-moos!!!!!!!
